I made a reservation cause I didn’t know if they were gonna be busy or not and we got there like 10min early for our reservation but I found a table with my name on a ticket and I was assuming that is our table so we sat there for about 10-15min before anyone brought us drinks and a menu let me just mention that I noticed that there is only one cashier/waitress and only one cook and the cook was the one that brought us waters after that it was about another 10min when we ordered they have a unlimited sides bar for dine in and I thought that was great cause I’ve never seen a place do that before and the side bar is self served while we were waiting for our food I went to the other side to check out the general store and I didn’t find anything to buy but they have a variety of things from snacks to noodles and sea weed our food took a little longer than expected but like I mentioned I only saw one cook and we weren’t being impatient but once we got the fried dumplings they were soooo good! I could not stop eating them I don’t care if it burned my mouth because how hot the inside is the taste and the crunchy texture was a very good combo my fiance got the spicy bulgogi and it was amazing! Not to spicy but it tasted good I wanted more since his food go there before mine did I got the kimchi fried rice and it was delicious I did pour the left over soy spice from the dumplings and it tasted better to me overall the food is definitely worth the wait! Please yall be patient with the cook and waitress they were super nice to us and you can tell they are really trying the food was so delicious that we came back to the condo and...
Read moreFirst time and last time. Seafood soup = 3 shrimp and lots of tofu. It was tasty like usual korean seafood soup, but not worth the price! Not variety of seafood like you'd expect if you've ever had a real korean seafood soup. Spicy bulgogi was the only good dish that I liked. It's not spicy but pretty flavorful. Regular bulgogi is not the on-the- grilled bulgogi but more like stirfry bulgogi that I can cook at home. Short ribs was the most disappointing size of all. Very thin meat and tooo sweet. Lastly, there was no service at our table (no water refill or check in to see if we need anything) so I didn't feel the need to tip. Menu price for each plate was 16.99 and up already ( and plating was not worth these 16.99 and 19.99 prices) . After paying, the waitress looked at my receipt and it had no tip. She told me to put tips at the table. I ended up tipping to be nice but was dissatisfied with everything. The food was flavorful enough, but if you've had other real authentic korean restaurants, you'd probably be disappointed like me. These are just my opinions. I do recommend you to go support and try it...
Read moreWhen you walk in, there is a little mart to the left and the restaurant to the right. We were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere. Banchan and water were served immediately. Generally banchan varies depending on the day with kimchi always being present. We ordered the spicy seafood noodle dish, spicy beef bulgogi, and japjae (glass noddle stir fry).
The spicy beef bulgogi came out first and we got hot rice to go with. The jalapenos weren't something I generally see on this, but it was good and spicy hit the tongue immediately. Japjae came out next piping hot. Where I come from there is generally zucchini in this dish as well - flavor was spot on. Then the spicy seafood noodle dish - amazing!! We took hime leftovers after being very well fed - servings are traditionally large.
We got there at 4pm on a Sunday and were well taken care of even though the staff was taking a rotating lunch. Never needed to ask, they added everything we needed without asking. Shop seems family run, small (6 big tables) but clean....
