This hotel is literally in the perfect location! You won’t pay the prices of the resort but you will be close to all of the resorts!! You can’t beat it! #TiKTokGOSTAY #colorado #travel #colorfulcolorado #hotels

The location was on Main Street, the room was clean and had a refrigerator, although there was no bathroom door for privacy. Also, we were surprised to find a Brown đŸ» Bear in the parking lot at 1AM ransacking the trash for food. Two trash cans were sitting in the open by guests rooms where trash had been strewn by the bear's hunt for food. The front desk seemed aware about bears frequenting the.motel area after dark, but there was no forewarning not to go to your car after midnight. I heard a loud noise outside the door and thought it was noisy neighbors, but just before checkout the next day a neighbor shared photos of the bear walking pass her motel door!! I understand the location is high in the mountains and its nearly hibernation season, as the staff member said, but I would have felt safer if forewarning guests not to go out after midnight was done for precautions and safety, especially considering that people could encounter a life threatening situation if faced by a bear while walking to their cars at the Snowshoe Motel. Thank you.

Stayed here for a few days. The only great thing is location - in downtown walking distance from everything in Frisco. Rooms however are very old, and if you're getting a kitchenette prepare to be disappointed (small noise fridge, space taken up by another old fridge that doesn't work, appliances from decades ago). Walls and floors are paper thin if you sleep downstairs you'll hear everything upstairs. Outside there's a parking lot right next to the rooms so you'll be hearing the car locking beeps every time. Breakfast was also disappointing even for "continental breakfast" which usually doesn't mean much. Constantly out of salt and pepper, tiny paper plates that barely fit more than one piece of toast, etc. On the plus side there is coffee available throughout the day. Receptions/owners are nice enough, but they do constantly smoke outside the door (since they have to watch the office) which isn't great. Overall a low quality motel in a great location, I don't think you're getting your money's worth here.

I have mixed feelings about posting this review but I just feel frustrated. The location is the only selling point of this motel. I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel, I, to some extent, knew what I was getting into, but we ended up only staying one night because the beds were the worst beds I've ever slept on. We got a large suite because we were with our kid and wanted the extra room. The mattresses might as well have been stones and the pillows were filled with cheap uncomfortable filler. It was probably the worst nights sleep I've ever had. I dreaded sleeping there again so we just didn't. We ended up moving hotels and changing plans just so we didn't have to sleep on the beds again. There also is no central AC and visiting in July made this room hot and uncomfortable. There is a portable unit in the bedroom but that's it. We couldn't get the rooms under about 75° so not only were we uncomfortable but hot. The comforter was thin and just okay. The rest of the room was fine. Outdated, but I knew that from the pictures. For a similar price we could have stayed at a much nicer hotel in the same area. The breakfast was barely passable as continental. We checked out two nights early because we couldn't imagine another night of not sleeping so we essentially double paid for two nights. If you were going with a large group to split the cost it might be worth it (room could sleep multiple couples & kids) but it just wasn't for a family of 3. I would have rather spent another $50/night and stayed at a luxury hotel in Breckinridge.

On top of all of this, I left a note with the front desk with all of my contact information and a note explaining why we checked out and the complaints with the girl at the front desk (who was super sweet and apologetic) and said she would inquire about a refund for the two nights but management never reached out, however I did see we were refunded for one night so I guess that's something. Overall just frustrated and disappointed. I hate leaving negative reviews but this...

Two-story walk up motel, clean and in good condition. Comfortable beds with good linens and towels, nice toiletries. There is only a window fan, no A/C. Refrigerator, microwave and Wifi worked fine. There is enough parking (one space per room). I was always able to get a space. Photos are accurate. I had an upstairs room (#37) with two beds. Room is reasonably sized and well-equipped. ||My main issue was the service due to limited office and breakfast hours (7am -10pm). I asked if I could get a banana for breakfast when I checked in, since I needed to leave before 7am for four of my five mornings and the receptionist pretty much shut me down (I did manage to get one packet of oatmeal for one morning). She also shut me down from making a cup of Keurig coffee when I first checked in, but I was able to make a cup on subsequent afternoons. The room coffee setup is a Mr Coffee machine. It was pretty bad, and they do not replenish the coffee packets unless you ask. I wound up boiling water in the microwave and using some freeze-dried coffee I had with me, then having coffee at the conference (thank goodness!)||The location is good if you want to walk up and down the Main Street drag in Frisco, and if you have a vehicle there are several grocery stores and bakeries nearby (to buy breakfast etc if you can't be there for the...

I was driving to Wisconsin with my daughter and as I’m not familiar with the area, I was involved in an accident. I was taken to the Hospital and released at 0300. I couldn’t find a room to rent for a couple hours so they allowed us to sleep in an empty room in the ER since it wasn’t busy. Went to breakfast at 0730 and was calling around for a room because I had no place to go and relax. I was frustrated and in pain with my bruised ribs and my whole left side. I walked in and asked if they had a room to rent and check in later for. Sadie asked if I was the one that called earlier and I confirmed it was me. I explained my car was totaled and in pain. Sadie was kind and understood I wasn’t feeling well. I was going to ask to sit in their lobby area with my 12 year old daughter until the room was ready. Without hesitation, Sadie gave me a room that was ready so I could get some sleep and lay down. Although a $20 wasn’t enough to show my gratitude that’s all I had. She was kind, caring and went out of her way for my daughter and I. That’s why I’ll be a returning to Snowshow Motel where they hire people empathize with your guests. Human kindness goes a long way in the world we live in. Thank you Sadie and...
