Visited from out of state and was looking for Italian cuisine for the family and evaluated menus from many eateries and something seemed unique about this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food and service knocked it out of the park. Many items were not your everyday typical Italian recipes. I had the fra diavolo shrimp risotto and it was out of this world. The fresh avocado across the top was unique and really added to the flavor and texture profile. My family had the the field greens salad (delicious!) and the fettuccini along with a kids pizza which were all cooked to perfection. To add to one of the best experiences we have ever had overall at a restaurant was our server Ashley (Ash). She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu with detailed descriptions and was engaged with the entire family. She interacted lightheartedly with my two children and had them rolling with a great fun family game. We had a wonderful meal and Ashley makes us wish we could come here to sit in her section regularly instead of having to go home tomorrow.

A delightful Italian restaurant in this beautiful and quaint town of Frisco, Colorado. On an August evening, we sat outside, and the weather was nice. My husband ordered the veggie lasagna, and he didn't seem to like it very much. It's possible that someone else might like it because my husband is more of a meat-eater. I got the mushroom garlic pizza, and it was very good! We also tried the tiramisu, which was "ok". Our waitress was in too much of a hurry and didn't even give me one second to answer her questions. I kind of don't fault her on that because there was a sign asking us to be patient with them since they were extremely short-handed. Everything was a bit pricey, but that is to be expected in a touristy little mountain town like this one. Overall, we really enjoyed our whole dining experience.

Will not ever go back. Went to this restaurant for the Bread + Salt brunch late morning yesterday with a group of 8 women. No issues getting in or getting a table, but then had the worst service. We were ignored the 15 minutes we were seated and she never checked in on our group the rest of the time. We kept trying to get her attention and she blatantly ignored us. We had to get up to ask the host for a pitcher of water for our table since we were never offered refills for any beverage, including water. We had to flag her down for the check, after having been finished for 20 min, she said she would be right back with it, and we waited another 15 minutes while she continually walked around the table and ignored us. Of 8 people, half the meals were good and finished, the other half had really bland meals that were lacking any flavor, including salt, and were left mostly untouched. Two members of our group also got sick after eating, with one person expressing severe food allergies and still having a reaction. We witnessed other tables having positive reactions and receiving typical amounts of attention, so were very frustrated and confused as to why we received such poor treatment. There is an automatic gratuity added for groups larger than 6, so unfortunately we had no choice in leaving a tip. We believe that since the waitress was guaranteed this already, she didn't even bother with trying to do her job well. 6 of 8 of us all work in the service industry so we are well in tune with what a basic level of decent service should look like, and the staff at this restaurant did not exhibit that at...

The hostess was so nice. I wish I could say the same about the waitress, I wish I could say the same about the ‘manager’. He couldn’t have been the manager though with the aggressiveness and attitude he gave to us over an extra charge that they mistakenly put on the check. He made sure to ‘teach us’ about how ordering food at restaurants work - never in my life have I been spoken to like that by someone at a restaurant, let alone ‘management’. How embarrassing for them that other patrons witnessed how the manager handled things. We were so shocked by his manner of interacting with paying costumers that it almost took our attention away from how extremely rude the waitress was until it was time for the check/tip - then all of a sudden she gave her best attempt at being nice..which was like the food they serve, mediocre.

The food was just so underwhelming considering the cost for it all and their military-like ordering policies, etc. - food came out room temp, clearly had been waiting in the kitchen for a good 10 minutes+. If you’re going to charge a lot and be difficult about the ordering process, at least show up in the food department. But if you fail in all areas…all you have going for you is how great Frisco is. But that also means there are such better options in Frisco for food, enjoyment.

Consensus: beautiful location (can’t beat Frisco), mediocre food, horrible service.

Do yourself a favor - go to Vinny’s, or the Grille, or anywhere else in Frisco. It’ll make your visit so much more...

Saturday morning we went to Bagalis for brunch. There was ample seating available and the restaurant was not crowded. We had a table of 4. We waiting 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order, another 20 minutes for someone to take our food order, and another 40-45 minutes before our food came out. In that time, we were never offered a refill on coffee or water. After our food was dropped off, our server, Angel, passed by our table and barely checked in on us. Didn't even ask if we wanted more coffee or how our food was (sub-par, at best). The matcha/sorbet pancakes have no matcha flavoring and just a scoop of soggy sorbet that ruined the pancakes. I had the veggie scramble which was an utter disappointment with lackluster flavor and minimal portion size. Our server ignored us so much that I had to flag him down to ask for a plain bagel with butter to go for my husband. He dropped our check 15 minutes later and I had to wait an additional 35 minutes for one (barely) toasted bagel with butter. When asking where my bagel was, our server copped an attitude and said it would be a wait because "he was busy"...If you look at my review history you'll see I NEVER leave reviews like this, but I worked in the service industry for over a decade and this is BY FAR the absolute worst service I ever had. I almost asked them to refund my card for the $117 disappointment. Whatever high reviews this place has, must be from an AI bot, because what this place lacks in taste is only matched by it's...
