I should’ve taken more pictures, but honestly—what even was this steak? For $49, I expected something decent. Instead, what came out looked more like a pork chop, gray and lifeless, and after sending it back, the replacement was just as bad. Hands down the worst meal I’ve had in years. IHOP could’ve served a better steak, no joke. 🤮 The only good things? The Dr Pepper and the fries. That’s it. To be fair, our server did notice how unhappy we were and even mentioned frustration with the kitchen, but nothing was done to make it right. As someone who’s waited tables, I know it can be tough when the kitchen drops the ball, but usually there’s at least some effort to turn the experience around. Also, this wasn’t a fluke because both of us got the steak and both were terrible. What’s crazy is we asked for Medium and the other asked for Medium Rare and we had 1/2 of the ribye almost raw, which I don’t mind except for the fact that this meat looked gray on the outside so it didn’t feel safe. And the other half of the steak looked like this pic. I really wish I took more pics. I can’t believe this was $49 and we bought 2! 🤢 Save your money. There are way better places to eat in Frisco.

I think I just came into this restaurant with expectations too high. Somehow our appetizer came as an entree and our server didn't realize it until I pointed out I didn't get a sandwich. Also, our server seemed like they wanted to be doing anything besides being a server at this restaurant. We got the steak skewers, chicken sandwich, and the tuna bowl. The sandwich and the steak skewers were good, though the fry's did not taste fresh, the tuna bowl had hard rice and the person who ate it felt sick shortly after we left, but that's also the risk you take for eating raw food. Despite all of our issues we were not offered any discounts or coupons, we were actually never given a receipt just ask for a card so we could pay. (idk maybe thats normal these days) Everyone else around us seem to be having a fine time with no issues, so maybe we we're just unlucky with what we ordered. And I never leave bad reviews, you can look through my profile, but when you pay almost $100 for two entrees and an app and water I expected my dinner to be a lot better.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff with an excellent vibe. The wait for a table wasn't terrible and they have many options. While asking about the menu, I surmised that everything is frozen. The happy hour drinks were not very strong, but reasonably priced. I will most likely never return. Given nothing was local or fresh, I elected for a burger and fries. The fries were just standard frozen bag french fries and the burger was a patty. Each item you add to your burger is more, and it quickly becomes significantly overpriced. I estimate the return on burger and fries was roughly 5-7x what I could spend to make it at home. I'm not complaining about the price, but more that the price doesn't reflect the quality. I usually steer away from frozen patties and heavily processed foods and this was certainly that. While the flavor was fine, this place was not a place I'd recommend or return to. That said, I didn't want to reduce my rating too much as I think the average American would not be put off by the lack of quality at this establishment.

Had such a horrible and disappointing experience here. Our server Kelly, made inappropriate comments and insinuated that we were “poor” and potentially stole “while out shopping” because of the color of our skin.

A police officer came into the restaurant and came straight to my friend and I ( both minority women) and asked us if we “drove a red Subaru”. Completely understand that this is separated from the restaurant, HOWEVER, how Kelly handled our inquiries was utterly tasteless and disgusting.

After the encounter, we noticed she was looking at us and did not go back to our table. After not being attended for a long period of time, Kelly comes by the table. Being that we are not from the area, we asked her what that may have been about to see if she potentially might have known of something going on that day or in the community, etc.

She proceeds to say “ well, this is a rich town, were you guys out shopping?” Insinuating that we don’t look rich merely based upon the color of our skin. Then she proceeds to say “ yeah I don’t know what that’s about, but you guys do look like really big criminals.” Which, joke or not, is tasteless to say given the context of our conversation with her.

As an officer in the United States Army, this incredibly disheartening and disappointing to see and experience.

Ps Kelly we know that this is a rich town, which is why we were there as guests enjoying our time, until that encounter with you.

EDIT: the owner that responded to this review claims they are trying to understand but instead they get defensive and attempt to INVALIDATE our experience. That’s NOT the action of someone who is truly trying to understand.

EDIT 2: My ARMY EXPERIENCE is more than relevant because it shows that you can sacrifice your life for this country, have high accolades, and these people will STILL strip you down to negative stereotypes based merely on the color...

What a terrificly run place! We come every year and always look forward to returning. We were in town for 2 weeks this year and joined 5th Avenue's Happy Hour four times. We tried all of the Happy Hour Apps and they are all great.

The manager is very service-oriented, and her approach bleeds over to her employees. We loved Chris as our waiter. He takes his job seriously and does everything he can to make sure his customers are happy. Nick is a great bartender and consistently makes great cocktails - Old Fashioneds and Lemon Drops were great. Sept 2023

Every Happy Hour Appetizer is great. The best is Beef Tips - some delicious, tender, perfectly cooked steak chunks. We were sad when the Empanadas were done.

I liked the Whiskey Mule. I was told that the Martini is very good.

Service is always great and it's a very comfortable place to spend time with friends. August 2020

Good Happy Hour (3-6) with $4 drafts, wine and wells, plus $7-9 prices on appetizers. The appetizers are tasty and have good portions so you can treat them as simple meals. - July 2019

Burgers are very tasty but a bit pricey. Very friendly staff. - Aug 2018

New owners but same menu and good quality....
