I went in July but just came across the listing again so had to share! Expedia told me it was $508 for a room with 2 beds for a week..… (I know its cheap but thats what I agreed to pay for) Long story short they tried charging me like $850. I refused. After going back and forth for an hour, me showing her my receipt, her telling me that my receipt is irrelevant, and expedia getting mad at them and cancelling the entire reservation, she ended up charging me $780 for a 1 bed room for a week (I had no other option as there was a festival in miami and places were now charging like $2000 a week) and the wifi didn’t work unless you were in the parking lot, the A/C didn’t work well AND they tried kicking me out 3 days early saying I only bought 4 nights I literally refused to leave and was ready to call the cops and the older man just left me alone. I REALLY would have thought this was a nice business with nice people but they are trying to take advantage of people by charging them extra money that they agreed to pay for. They tried blaming expedia and I told the lady I have used expedia hundreds of times and this has never happened to me. She said expedia says it has extra fees I said yes expedia had your hotel listed at $38/night and it was $508 WITH the additional fees included and she just kept telling me I was wrong. When I checked with Expedia they said the hotel was 110% wrong and they advised me not to pay more than what my total on expedia was but I had already went and payed the $780. Long story short, in my eyes this hotel owes me $280 and I will forever vouch to everybody that this entire place is a scam. I have travelled the entire world using Expedia and have never had a single issue with any hotels, car rentals, flights or anything until this specific hotel. The timing was horrible as when I got there I didn’t get paid for 2 days and had to spend $280 more than I thought I was spending on arrival. Mind you, WE HAD TO SHARE A BED NOW TOO!!!!! For more money…. Gets me heated just thinking about it makes me wanna go to small claims court since I have written proof from Expedia that they were not to charge me any additional fees other than...
Read moreThe filthiest, most rundown place I’ve ever stayed in. Booked it through my credit card company, and it was a complete disaster! Please don’t stay here. The mold in the bathroom shower is so thick, that you can smell it as you walk in. The bathroom sink had hair from the previous guest along with mold around it. The kitchen faucet fell off in our hand as we attempted to turn it on. The ceiling fan has not been dusted ever, so we turned it off for fear of being hit with dust while we slept. Bedside lamps don’t work, cracks, mold, and water stains are all through the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom. We were only given one towel and washcloth, and when we ask for a second, we were told it would be brought to our room. However, we had to eventually go get it ourselves since no one showed up. don’t even think about asking for hand towels! They’re nonexistent! The towel rack above the toilet is metal, and it’s totally rusted out. There’s not one single piece of furniture in the room that isn’t beat up. The dishes in the cabinets in the Kitchen or filthy and hadn’t been washed. The list goes on and on and on! Ironically, in addition to the room rate, we were charged a $16.00 resort fee. Take my word when I say this place is anything but a resort! We brought a light and checked for bedbugs, unfortunately, we didn’t see any. We were surprised. The smoke detector has been removed and not replaced. I’m sure that’s a violation of some kind. The baseboards had not been painted recently or dusted for that matter. The list goes on and on and on! Do yourself a favor and run as fast as you can...
Read moreWhen I arrived I was told they were booked up even though I paid and reserved a room in Dec!! The manager (who barely speaks English) stated he would refund me and asked me to go walk around and find another hotel in the area. A customer called after I got there and he told her the same thing while she was driving to the hotel. He told her to turn around that he would refund her. Thankfully I called Travelocity and they were so nice to help me find another hotel for the same rate. 45 mins later, by the time they got me switched to a whole new hotel the hotel manager GRABBED my phone from me and told Travelocity never mind and that he mysteriously found an open room for me. The room was loud w traffic (right next to the main road), there was NO tv, NO microwave and NO hairdryer. I went to the front desk asking if they had an extra hairdryer or microwave in the back. They said no. The manager then told me I could come over to his hotel room and borrow his microwave! (Creepy, no thanks). They charge you a $17/ day resort fee for cleaning service. THERE’S NO SERVICE. I never got fresh towels, toilet paper, trash changed or sheets changed. I had to go to the office to get extra towels /toilet paper. Also as soon as I took my first shower the shower curtain fell to the ground!! The toilet only flushed once per night so all the waste had to sit there until the water filled up once per night to flush it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! It is close to the beach but not close enough for...
