If I could give this Red Lobster more than 5 stars, I would launch them into the stratosphere and shower them with a constellation of a thousand glowing stars. That’s how incredible my experience was.
I came here for my birthday dinner, and what unfolded was nothing short of legendary. My server, Ismail, deserves his own statue outside the restaurant. This man was more than a server—he was a storyteller, a biscuit-bearing hero, a bringer of joy, and the orchestrator of a night that I will be telling my grandchildren about.
Let’s start with the biscuits. Oh, the biscuits. Ismail didn’t just bring them, he bestowed them upon our table as if presenting a royal gift. Fluffy, cheesy, golden perfection—basket after basket arrived, and each one was better than the last. I thought I knew happiness before, but those biscuits taught me a new definition of joy.
Then came the tale that will live in my heart forever: the Legend of Walt and His Favorite Shrimp. With the passion of a bard and the timing of a master performer, Ismail transported us back through the annals of seafood history. I swear I could hear the ocean waves crashing as he spoke. Never has shrimp felt so heroic, so noble, so destined to be devoured.
And just when I thought the night couldn’t possibly reach greater heights, Ismail arrived with ice cream, a birthday song, and a smile so genuine that it felt like the universe itself was singing along. My entire table joined in, strangers in the restaurant clapped, and I swear for a brief moment, time stood still.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was a spiritual awakening. I entered Red Lobster in Katy as one person and left as another, forever transformed by cheddar bay biscuits, legendary shrimp, and the unstoppable greatness of Ismail.
To the management: give this man a raise, a promotion, a golden shrimp-shaped crown—whatever it takes to honor his greatness. And to anyone thinking of dining here: DO IT. This isn’t just seafood, it’s destiny on a plate.
Thank you, Red Lobster Katy. Thank you, Ismail. My birthday has been enshrined in the history...
Read moreWe ended up here for Valentines Day. We were seated between two other couples in the booth area. While we waited to place our drink order, I heard both tables ask the waiter for a manger. I questioned whether we should just leave, as this was not a good sign. The same waiter takes our order, nice guy who looked frustrated. Our salads arrive and my husband unrolls his silverware and it’s covered in food. Not just a spot, but covered. I gave him my extra knife and fork, and we hoped for the best. I hear the manager arrive to speak to the couple behind me, and I was appalled. The customers spoke softly, and all I could hear from the manager was defensive and unapologetic responses. Never once did I hear him apologize for the lack of quality this couple received. I wanted to leave, just in protest of this guys lack of management skills. I asked my husband if he could see what the couple looked like, as they were behind me. He said he could see the man, and he was elderly. I asked my husband if we could buy them a dessert, to hopefully make their Valentines Day a little nicer. Husband said by the looks of disappointed from the elderly man, they would not have even enjoyed it after their rude experience from the manager. When they were leaving, I turned around and took a peek at them. The woman was pushing a walker, and her husband appeared to be in the same age bracket and state of health. It’s been two days, and I still can’t get these two seniors off my mind. Shame on you Red Lobster for treating these people so badly. I’m sure they will never return, and we will not be back either. Our food and waiter were good, and the silverware issue I may be able to get past. But the lack of curtesy and disrespect given to this older couple...
Read moreI am going to only Rate with 2 Stars, Because I’m so sad today 3/15/2022, I Ordered Curbside like I’ve also done in the Past as well, and when I Arrived, I then sent “Here”, to the App, and I was waiting for a very Long time, until I had to Send my Daughter to Pick up my Order from Inside the Restaurant and She said that my Order was just Sitting and No one was Bringing my Order to me, and I sometimes can’t walk, so I wouldn’t have received my Order if my Daughter hadn’t been there with me, and I noticed a bad Odor and Smell, like I Experienced also a week ago, and it smelled as if The Seafood wasn’t so Good, so when I got Home, I opened my Order and the Lobster’s were Half Cooked so I had to Recook them myself at Home, because I was way too Exhausted to Drive all the way Back to the Restaurant, and this is now the 3rd time within the Past 3 Week’s that This has Happened to me, and I did call to Speak to the Manager before about it, but nothing was Offered to be Remade or anything. I spent over $100.00 on my Order, which I’m very Disappointed with the Presentation of my Order. I also didn’t like the Seafood Stuffed Mushroom’s, because they weren’t looking the way they looked like when I Sat inside the Restaurant a Few Week’s ago, and I’m noticing that the To-Go Food is done very Differently, then when Eating inside the Restaurant. “I really love this Restaurant, but something’s got to Change”!! I got Sick to my Stomach both times that my Food wasn’t Fully Cooked on, and I am kind of Afraid to Call the Restaurant to Report this, Because I don’t think they’ll care to Fix the Issue, being that I have called Before and Nothing was Done. But, Everything Else...
