I wasn’t amazed by the stay, we stayed for 2 nights and we got what we paid for. The front desk were very friendly and welcoming and showed us where our room was. We booked a 2 twin and one sofa bed, the regular beds are on top of a wooden piece. I didn’t really feel comfortable sleeping since I do twist and turn a lot at night. The bathroom faucet doesn’t have a strong stream for the water, even if you turn it all the way! I don’t think the faucet was installed right because when shutting it off, the handle almost comes off too! If you are a light sleeper I don’t really recommend this place because you hear everything outside and the people coming and going from the other rooms! Our bedroom didn’t have a trash can, so we had to walk out to the patio to throw trash there. We did have a fridge in the room but once opened it starts to leak. The only really positive is being in the downtown area. The shower had flys and water smelled very bad.

Absolutely recommend this spot to stay in Key West! Lovely and very welcoming host at the front office, and made to feel like exactly how a guest house should be, homey and inviting. It’s right in the center of town but on a quiet street so it’s the best of both. Room is very comfortable with a well working AC and breakfast is a very generous nice spread, with excellent locally sourced bagels that are delicious! Happy I chose this spot and recommend you do if the price is right. I will just say two minor inconveniences, the wifi in most of the hotel is very good, but in my room itself it was very weak and kept going in and out of signal. The other thing is there was no chair or table in the room if you need to work or eat, there was a very comfortable couch though.

Terrible terrible staff and place to stay - LOUD, NO SLEEP!!!

We are currently at the hotel and upon showing up to the hotel noticed the rooms were all upon walking in the front door - of course when showed to our room we received the room straight across from check in and the only entrance to the front door. We are away for a relaxing trip for my husbands birthday and this did not suit us. First manager I spoke with Niana was extremely rude and ready to throw us on the street. Ended up apologizing and giving us 25% off the stay due to the trouble. As expected at 2:30 in am we were awoken but a slew of guests staying on second floor. 2:30/3:00 am. They proceeded to make TONS of noise on second floor above us as if they were moving furniture around the room until 4:30 am. Absolutely NO sleep. Second gentlemen we dealt with (another manager) seemed a bit better when I called him at 4:00 am to complain since I couldn’t sleep at all. NO ONE is on the premises after 6 pm to address issues. Next evening we came in after a nice evening of dinner and heard same insane noises above our heads. Called manager to say I can not, not sleep again tonight and got a full on attitude. Basically told us to find somewhere else to stay. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. The bathrooms is extremely small, no warm water. Rooms are tiny tiny tiny and horrible views. Walls are paper thin and the managers don’t seem to care if you get any sleep. The rooms are NOT cheap and are not worth the money at all. We have 2 more evenings in this hell Hole and I’m guessing I’ll get no rest on this expensive vacation we booked. I will be writing many reviews. I am not against drinking and having fun, but not letting your guests have a restful night and allowing this to happen is absurd. The website depicts a way different view of this place. They rather throw you on the street then address your concerns. Don’t waste your money at all. To add on our last full day the manager offered us to move to a sister property We declined not wanting to move all our things for the last evening. She basically Fought with us and told us we were being confusing. Nasty and not friendly at all. How is confusing that we said 5 times no thanks that we don’t want to move our stuff. She mentioned seeing my review-...

Booking somewhere in Key West for a reasonable price is near impossible! After lots of research on where to stay, we bit the bullet and booked this B&B and we are so glad we did.||The location is the ‘pis de resistance’ of the B&B! You are basically in the heart of Key West and all the attractions are in short walking distance. On arrival we were greeted by Drew who gave us a warm welcome and explained about the B&B. We arrived by car and he gave us some great advice about parking and in the end it cost us $0 for 3 nights. Happy days and thanks Drew.||Our room (19) was a top floor space which was bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable and the en suite bathroom fit the bill. There was also a fridge in there which was handy in the warm weather… Slight negative being a 6’3” bloke, you had to be a bit careful with the sloping roofs in the room and trying not to bang your head.||Breakfast was a continental affair with plenty to start your day. Coffee was from a local company called Cuban Coffee Queen which was absolutely delicious and went down a treat every morning.||Overall staying in Key West is not cheap! If you want to see the main attractions with no hassle with buses/Uber, parking and travelling and all the rest of it, staying in Key West is a must. It’s a fabulous town with a great atmosphere and we are certainly glad we chose to stay at L’Habitation Guest House. We would return in a heartbeat and in hindsight stayed a bit...

This was our first time staying in this guest house. We go to Key West every year and we like to try different spots. This place has made its way to #1 in our book. The room was VERY clean. The smell of bleach and cleaning products was very prominent-not a complaint! I love to walk into a room and it smells like it is clean. Others do not, but I assume they just are not clean people. The sheets smelled clean, and the floor was spotless. I usually do not walk barefoot because I don't like the feeling of stepping on any residue that is on the floor, but I was able to in our room. Until of course, we were constantly in and out of the room. The salt night light in the bathroom is a great touch. It was really dark in the room so the night light helped when we needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. The location of the guesthouse was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to be centralized so we could be on foot and not rent any wheels or drive. The patio in the front and back of the guesthouse was very relaxing. I had the back patio guestroom, and I did sit out there a few times to enjoy the night. The location was also very quite the only noise you hear is some traffic on the street, but only if the cars were noisy. We did not hear any pedestrian chatter either. Overall this guesthouse is a 10/10 for me, I will definitely be...
