BEWARE! DO NOT STAY HERE. I would give them a zero star, rooms located on the street, too much traffic noice, no parking, we had park on the street. Room smelled like Urine. Paid $300 a night for this dump. You can’t book directly, third party reservations company charged $83 extra for cancellation protection without my consent and no refund received. Bugs crawling in the bathroom. Cheap mattress and sheets. Lobby closes before noon, had a dog, smelled awful. No security lock from inside. No closet, no iron. Please see all pictures.

What a beautiful and unique lodge. I love all the outdoor seating areas, the countryside views, and the exceptional hospitality! I really could just stay here forever. I definitely have never slept on a better bed and if I could have stuffed a couple of those luscious pillows in my suitcase, I would have. Great water pressure too! A+ accomodations. Don't stay anywhere else, IF they have availability, what a delightful time and place! Wonderful help with directions, sites, and places to go and dine. I'm going back!

Well Tammy, You seem to be “shocked” at any negative review. I’ll address that I hope your wife’s surgery went well and all is healthy, we wish no ill will on anyone & I myself have a mom who had a lung transplant so we definitely wish the best and the review is not personal until my kids got the bug bites and I can careless that you mentioned we had 5 ppl. Yes, 2 adults & 3 young kids out of which only 2 ppl ate anything so it didn’t cost you much for food, not sure what point your trying to make but when you don’t accept fault and point fingers it looks bad. In response to you responding to me. I trust what my husband tells me versus what you write, he’s very honest. He has to be extremely honest for a living- in fact we told you we had 3 kids and hence why we needed the cot. I fear your not that honest , I know your not if your telling me you run a clean business. My kids had big bites so bad, my oldest daughter still has a scar from one of them!! I take it VERY personal when my children are affected physically due to non clean rooms!! Don’t worry, I have pictures of the bug bites , I’ll find them & post the pictures if you’d like! But I’m hoping since it’s been a long time now, the company has fixed the bug issue. It could be that your establishment is so old the doors & windows need to be resealed so the buffalo gnats & mosquito’s or fleas don’t get in but my kids woke up with HUGE bug bites. My 6 yr old had a huge lump on the side of his head because he was reacting to whatever bug bit him! We did call & complain, not sure if it was you we spoke to but we felt due to the severity of the bites, you guys should know. I’m not shocked at the inability for you to admit any possible fault on your end and trying to deflect onto the customer, thats a common narcissistic quality among business these days, customers never right!. They place blame else where. Hope you’ve fixed the issues. Keep this in mind, if it were your kids, you would correct the issue. Try to think of your guests as family and if it’s to expensive to get a pest control guy & update stuff, maybe it’s time to sell. Tammy

No one has written a recent review so I will. The desk girl lied to my husband upon check in which just ticks us off. TWO OF MY KIDS GOT HORRIBLE BUG BITES SLEEPING AT THIS PLACE 😢 The rooms are tiny, air system in lodge needs a total revamping. They need to to put money into this lodge to update it for the $$ they charge per night. They advertise many things that you don’t really get. Beds-old..Breakfast-non existent. We were told by front desk to go across the street to the other hotel for breakfast?? Parking sucks & is creepy They allow smoking near the rooms, actually promote it by keeping ash trays 🥺 Which sucks-my son has asthma. Air-uh, gross-non existent really Cots that are advertised-told when you get here they don’t have any. Pro’s-hot water works for shower Close to the strip is where u can have drinks, shop, ride train, etc. DO NOT RECOMMEND & WILL NOT BE BACK.. Sorry but I have...

This is my forth time staying here. Each time has been better than the last. (If that is possible).||The location is great and you can just park your car and walk about 10-15 minutes to town for shopping and eats.||Arrived around 7:00 pm and used the code that was e-mailed to me to enter the room. ||We stayed in room 22 just to the right of the stairs. ||Room was equipped with two queen beds a 32 inch TV and an AC with remote. The bed was comfortable and had four pillow on each. Also an extra blanket was available if needed. Plenty of storage for clothing. There were also plenty of outlets for most of your electronics. A small fridge was also provided.||Bathroom was medium size with a shower/bath, one sink and a toilet. They supply all towels, lotions and soaps. There was a hair dryer if needed.||Water pressure was great and hot water came quickly.||A small breakfast was provided. It consisted of a few different fruits. They also have danish, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, juices and a few other items that will start your day off right. The coffee was excellent, one of the best I have had.||If your lucky. They might have a special snack that they occasionally make for guest. I did get to enjoy a street taco one morning along with the other daily breakfast offerings. ||It was so good that I'm going to make them when I get home.||One of the best part of breakfast is sitting and listening to others talk about their traveling journeys. You can also sit outside at one of the many seating areas and enjoy the fresh air and quietness of the location ||Your host Cine and Tammy are always helpful with local travel advice. They are also very outgoing and will make your stay very comfortable. They will also make sure you have what you need for a great stay.||Here is the history that is located on their web page:||This beautiful, cozy, and comfortable lodge was originally built in the 1900’s as the Keystone Fire Hall and was later used as the youth center and gathering place.||The flood of 1972 left the building (and the community) in need of major repairs. It was then the “Firehall” was auctioned off and the history of Battle Creek Lodge began. ||Originally, the property took many forms. From a “mom and pop” style diner to the lodge that exists today. One of our favorite pieces of the property is the history that lays in these walls. ||From the lobby, where the fire trucks used to park — where the beautiful hand laid rock fireplace now rests. Battle Creek Lodge is full of Keystone’s rich history.||If your looking for a hotel that is upscaled such as the Four Season, The Mark, or others. This may not be for you.||But if your looking for a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to wind down and rest your mind. This is your place. Read other reviews and that will give you an idea of what this place is all about.||If you have question call them directly and they will provide you...
