Horrible. This place has really gone downhill. I honestly wish I had never been here before my stay in February 2025. The quality of everything has GONE WAYYYY DOWN. The beds are poor, there are no amenities. The door to the outside parking lot doesn't even have a full seal. Everything is LOUD. Our room was on the 1st floor and you'd think how convenient we can legit park in front of our room but with the seal on the door missing and the quality of the windows and walls, you legit can hear a person fart, a seat belt click... Zeus forbid someone's car alarm goes off. It scared the crap out of my daughter. There were barely enough towels, rags and pillows. There was only 2 outlets in the room when typically even the lamps have a spot for phone chargers. In 100% of the hotels (even motels) I've stayed at they have had some sort of area to put your clothes wether a dresser, night stand or even a coat rack type deal... there is nothing. If I'm not mistaken every hotel/motel I've stayed at also had a coffee maker and cups... nope not here! I was happy to see that they had a bar of soap to wash our hands with bit no hand towels to dry our hands. The toilet paper is see through. There was no tissues anywhere. I rented 2 rooms. One room only had 2 very dim light fixtures on the walls and being blind in one eye made it terrible to see anything. The floors are the laminate that looks like wood but they do not give you any sort of broom or dust mop at all. I have a toddler who spilled and having only a few towels and rags made it a challenge to clean up. There were only 2 very tiny garbage cans. The curtains did not work properly and being on the ground floor in front of the parking lot was very uncomfortable. We had car headlights in our windows multiple times. In the hallways the heat vent covers were all falling off. I was surprised to find one of them that was on. The Waterpark and theme park is not big enough for all of the rooms that this place has. It's disgusting how this one hotel has taken over what feels like the whole city. This goes back to how I wish this was my first impression. It still wouldn't be good but at least I could appreciate the excitement a little more.
Even if you book your room for their cheapest price, I still WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place. I really wish I would have read through the reviews before booking. Worst hotel ever.... even the 2 star motel I stayed at a few weeks ago was far better than this.
This hotel wants you to belive that this is a family friendly place but it is not. With broken heat vent covers and cords all over the place on top of not having quietness or any way to pick up messes!
I feel there is so much more I could say and show but this is our 1st...

First impression: A Mt. Olympus box truck was backed all the way up to our entrance (31c for a 31b room) and several young men from the company were loitering around and half-heartedly taking things off the truck into the property. A weird off-limits room right off the entrance was open and it was the whole front half of the property that looked dilapidated and dirty. It was eerie. Mind you, check in is at 4pm and we didn’t actually arrive until 5 pm.
There were bits of trash scattered on the floors, dirty carpets, and very stinky. The ice maker positioned on the landing of the stairs had visible leaks and mold. Trash was on the floor right outside of our room, and the inside of the room didn’t get much better. It was very basic and bare, but the closer you looked the more fault you found. Pillows were dingy, leaning against the wall on the decal headboards. The door to the outside hall had a large gap, a lightbulb was burned out in the room, and there was what looked like mold/mildew above the towel rack and extra toilet paper in the bathroom. The toilet was obviously leaky and the vent had dust accumulated. There were burn marks on the laminate flooring; a testament to past tenants smoking in the room.
Right outside of the outside entrance to our room were several cigarette butts, a crumbling door frame, and a lonely bag of trash. Again, check in is at 4pm, this is past 5pm. The Mt. Olympus workers are clearly not held to a high standard of care. It’s very obvious that there is no staff on site or management oversight at all.
Farther down the parking lot was a concrete pad with broken grills, two sagging picnic tables, and two dumpsters, one of which was very full.
For the health and safety of my family, we decided to cut our losses and stay elsewhere (not an easy feat on a busy weekend.) I certainly did not want to risk bringing home any friends from the accommodation that would cost $$$ to exterminate. Every local we talked to gave us knowing smiles and sighs at the mention of the name Mt. Olympus.
We were given this room as a part of BlueGreen’s attempt to sell us a timeshare. They were AGHAST when we went to the meeting and told them where we were put up. I was told then that BlueGreen had terminated their contract with them and were no longer supposed to put people up at Mt. Olympus properties, but they sure did it to us anyways. Be aware and...

The nicest thing here is the artwork. The rooms are very basic and outdated. The parking lot is in horrible shape. There is no staff on site and one overpriced soda machine located outside. There were doors open in the interior of the building with a hand painted sign that said “staff only” and from the outside looking in it was an abandoned restaurant maybe? I’m not sure, I didn’t stick around to find out.
Our family stayed across the parking lot from us in 31A and had to wait for them to come and turn the electricity back on in their room.
The indoor water park was crowded, unorganized and complete chaos. Staff just standing around talking and not one time were we asked to verify that we were hotel guests. It felt like anyone could have just walked in— and no one really knew where to go. The carpets are musty and not clean at all. Debris everywhere. Everything located inside the indoor water park is extremely overpriced as expected at a location like this. The indoor theme park is an arcade in an airplane hangar. You aren’t missing much.
Love the outdoor park at mt. Olympus and will return for the outdoor only and definitely plan on staying offsite somewhere clean and worth the money. The kicker for me was the crusty washrag hanging in the bathroom that had either food dried to it… or poo… I don’t even want to know. Haha.
I’m not generally one to write an unfriendly review. This place may have been nice once upon a time, but it’s rode hard into the ground...
