My family and I loved staying here! We stayed just recently from June 8th-11th. I was looking for an affordable, family friendly, hospitable place for us to keep our things and rest our heads at the end of the day. Everytime I have been to Wisconsin Dell's I have stayed here. Yes, I have checked out the HOTELS on the strip-the stay and play free...well they charge sooo much money that our entire vacation budget would be spent staying there and we wouldn't have been able to do anything else.
Is the paradise motel convenient? Yes!!! Its right on the main road and close to everything. We even walked to places to do things AND you get free wristbands to Mt. Olympus which is right across the street (from the day you check in to the day you leave!). So instead of paying for parking we just walked across the street to go to the waterpark/theme park. There is a crosswalk and light for you to cross there. On the day we checked we got to park there while we went to the theme park portion.
Is it affordable? Like I said previously yes it is! We did soooo much while we were there and by staying there including everything we did it would have cost us at least that much just to stay at one of those hotels.
Family friendly? Heck yea! There was a park right by our room and there is another play area closer to the pool, the pool has a slide and a diving board. Vera the lady who runs it, is so awesome and sweet my boys wanted to say hi to her everyday-so we stopped in the office everyday.
Clean and Hospitable? Yes and yes!!! The room was perfectly clean and each day they changed our towels and made our beds. Vera is so sweet and she knows her stuff there, so if you have questions she is the one to ask. They also have so much information in their office of things to do definitely get some of those brochures.
I loved staying there and will stay at The Paradise Motel...
Read moreGot here yesterday, we have a room with 2 queen beds, the beds were not even made properly, the covers were just thrown on the beds like they were made in a rush. We checked for bed bugs under the mattress and around the bed but only found food crumbs. The room is dated, there's a tv, a table with 2 chairs, sink is outside the bathroom, and the bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor, and the toilet barely flushes. We were told that there is no Wi-Fi in the room but it is on the property, which didn't make sense because when we got to our room, we were able to connect just fine. Not the strongest connection but it worked for us. The beds are ok, kinda firm, but my family didn't mind. We only stayed for the free passes to Mt. Olympus, which they give you a plastic wristband during check in and are told not to take it off until you leave. Kinda annoying to keep it on for 3 days but oh well. The room only came with 2 bars of soap, it did not come with shampoo and conditioner. Not sure if it was supposed to or not but we brought our own just in case. There is no blow dryer, no coffee maker in the room, but there is a mini fridge and microwave, and I believe there is coffee only in the office during a certain time. There's a pool just outside the rooms which is nice, and it's open until 10pm. The price for our room during this time of season and it being the weekend, was a lot but the cheapest we can find that was available a week in advance. I don't think we will be coming again, we have stayed at better hotels but this will do for the weekend. Maybe if it was cleaner and the toilet flushed properly, I'd...
Read moreIt is good pricing, but place is very old and not clean enough. The lady at the front desk is awfully rude and very judgemental. Just give them a call to ask about their pricing and see for yourself the kind of smart ass answers she gives you and the horrible customer service she provides. She is racist and very miserable. I called today just to compare prices and the lady on the phone didn't express any interest to have anyone stay there. I asked her for the price of 2 nights and assuming pricing would be different depending on the amount of days when i asked her about what the price would be for adding more nights she told ME to do the math. She also expressed that she was assuming i wanted to sneak people in the room and that i couldn't do that. Excuse me, i dont know what kind of people she has dealt with in the past but my honesty and integrity doesn't need to be questioned or judged by a lady sitting behind a motel desk. I don't need to sneak anyone in nor was i even thinking of doing that. After her unnecessary comment and the way she treats people on the phone i can only assume their customer service is way worse than the last time we staid there. Do not waste your beautiful vacation time in this motel. Remember you get what you pay for. Do not ruin your...
