Going on a holiday, I expected it to be crowded. But they were not prepared! Changing rooms and bathrooms were dirty. Indoor water park was dark and we kept getting people's hair on us in the Lazy River. Park closed at 6 and was open only for hotel guests, but none of the employees knew when or where food was to be served nor where to repark. We waited in line for 2 hours for a measly hot dog and a cup of soda! Finally got to our hotel. Seems they bought up old motels, slapped some paint on them and called them theirs. For the 6 of us, we got a huge room with 3 beds, a slab nailed to the walls (but no outlets!) a mini fridge with a teeny microwave on top and a space big enough in the middle for a square dance! No sitting area with a couch. No wall separating one bed from the others. Kinda reminded me of a very large dorm room, especially with the cinder blocks in the hallway! I have been to other water park hotels here in the Dells and I've paid less for way better rooms. I'm really disappointed with our stay and I'll never come back nor...
Read moreRight off the bat, this started off bad. The place to check in was inconveniently placed almost a mile away from the main hotel, which was really confusing. The line to check in was long and moved fast, but by the time we did check in, the rooms where average, not much to say about them. The watermark, however, was great. There was a large variety of slides, and the wave pool was awesome. The negative side of the water park was the fact that half the indoor part was shut down, and that they shut everything down multiple times due to rain. Overall though, I would recomend. Same with the theme park, with multiple fun rides with short lines. The overall rating of 3 stars was due to the expensive coast, with a $80 doller parking fee if you come for the day. The lockers in the water park were small and overpriced, and besides the price you could often smell and see people smoking weed. Overall, it was a good experience, but if you want a bang for your buck I'd recommend...
Read moreOk, so let me say this. I too experienced the same noise problem with the room upstairs. We didn't even call the hotel front desk and the noise was to the extreme. The parking lot was super tight! Even the roads were too close together! I could definitely smell Marijuana. What makes it worse is I seen some of the staff engaged in the parking lot behaviors. Also I was even asked if I was looking for drugs by a hotel/park guest. Now for the Waterpark, some slides were closed, the indoor Waterpark was closed, most of the rides were closed on and off, and so was the indoor arcade. So we went to rent a cabana. Definitely not worth the time or money! The park employee wanted to put us right in front of the spraying fountain, water was pouring in! So we asked for a new location which they accommodated the lady helping us was super nice, that was about the only thing positive about the day. If you have your own vehicle it's worth it to just explore the...
