I’ve done a lot of traveling both for business and for pleasure and I have to say this is BY FAR the worst place that I stayed. I booked the room for an extended stay and not a full 3 days in I had an issue with the staff. One of the people in my room mistakenly took my key to the storage box while I was outside so upon my return I went to the front desk to have them open it but no one was there. The note in the window said to go to the (super8?) desk so I did and the person there told me they couldn’t do anything about that but they would make a note for someone to take care of it when they came at 9am… It ended up being 1pm before I finally had to go to the desk and ask about it and the person at the front desk had a TERRIBLE attitude. A few days after that there was a power outage and of course there was no one at the desk to assist anyone on the property (which wasn’t THAT big of a deal in comparison to what happened next.) Not even 2 days later a pair of shoes of mine were stolen from the room and I asked the staff to see if the house keeping staff had moved them. They told me they would contact them and get back to me and never did. Then came the straw that broke the camel’s back. Everyday from 11am-1pm we are supposed to leave the room so house keeping can come in and clean so around 10 o’clock a couple of days ago I went to the desk to ask for a towel so I could shower and leave before housekeeping came and the woman at the desk told me she couldn’t give me a towel… I asked her why she couldn’t do that and she replied I would have to wait until someone else came because she was busy. We got into a verbal dispute with me explaining that there has a been a problem every few days and I wanted a refund. She then said she was going to call security. 15 minutes after I had returned to my room 6/8 police officers were there with a man claiming to be the manager stating that I had to leave although I had 3 days left on my stay and the manager said I would not be refunded. The officers said there was nothing they could do and when I asked what I had done to be kicked off the premises they said the manager said I had threatened to unalive a staff member. Besides what I personally went through the location has a lot of homeless people and drug addicts in the area which could be unsettling for some. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone especially due to the attitude...

Upon arrival, I was immediately unsettled by the lack of security measures in place. The broken curtains in my room not only failed to provide privacy but also allowed outsiders to peer inside, compromising my safety and security.
The placement of the mirror directly facing the window exacerbated the privacy issue, as the curtains' inability to cover the window allowed passersby to inadvertently observe guests while they slept in their beds. This lack of privacy was deeply unsettling and unacceptable, further contributing to the overall feeling of insecurity during my stay.
In addition to the privacy concerns, the broken curtains failed to block out external light, resulting in a disruptive and uncomfortable sleeping environment. The constant influx of light as soon as the sun rose severely impacted my ability to rest and contributed to an overall negative experience.
Furthermore, the malfunctioning room unlocking app exacerbated the security issue, leaving me feeling vulnerable and exposed.
The main lights did not work, requiring us to rely solely on the bathroom light.
The "safe" provided (a plastic box) was deeply concerning. Not only did it lack the necessary security features expected in a hostel, but the size requirements for a lock were impractical for travelers, rendering the safe effectively unusable.
Equally distressing was the unrestricted access to the hostel premises, which allowed individuals of unknown backgrounds, including homeless individuals, to enter freely. This not only compromised the safety of guests but also contributed to an uncomfortable and unsettling atmosphere.
As someone who has stayed in multiple hostels around the world, including Bposhtels Orlando, I have never encountered such horrific safety hazards and substandard conditions.
UPDATE: they did refund me for all but two nights, which seems reasonable. The good customer service does not change my opinion of the location itself.
UPDATE2: they asked me to take down this review multiple times, which of course I won’t do. Also, I find this terribly unprofessional and reinstates my initial opinion: do...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE! Scary and dangerous neighborhood. Booked and paid for four nights. I’d did not stay in the room first night. Was told “we’re out of locks but Walgreens is right around the corner” after walking through crackhead town to Walgreens they were sold out as school year had just began. Was then told yes we can rent you a lock for $5. But the lock wouldn’t fit on the box. I locked two zippers of largest compartment of my back pack and hoped for the best. Upon returning my second night at 2:45am my key didn’t work. Took 45 mins to get a key replacement. Once I was in my room I realized someone had slept in my bed and sheets were not clean. Went back down to office and took another 45 mins to get bedding, only after security checked that I wasn’t lying? I just wanted to sleep. Finally asleep, I was awoken 3 hours later by a couple screaming at the top of their lungs and physically beating on one another in the room next to mine. After witnessing all this drama I left but didn’t return til the next morning. Day three of four. Once again my key did not work. On the advice of someone else in the room I simply knocked on the window to gain access to the room I had paid for. I found a much more safe and accommodating place to stay and checked out. And yes I had my phone charger and other small items stolen from my backpack pockets I didn’t lock. When leaving in an Uber my driver and I witnessed two crackheads physically fighting on the sidewalk in front of the hostel. The room itself is a regular hotel room with barrack style set up. Beds are children’s ikea bunk beds, yes I recognized the hardware. The plastic bins for storage are thin breakable plastic. Spend a few bucks more somewhere safe. Oh even the hair dryer didn’t work. For some reason curtains don’t cover the entire width of window. Who doesn’t want to wake with the sunrise when in Vegas? The curtain reaches the floor hanging a foot away from the wall/ window so air conditioning doesn’t circulate through the room. I wanted to save a few bucks but only created errands and headaches in my trip. Seriously it is a scary violent...
