Las Vegas reigns as the undisputed "Entertainment Capital of the World," and one of its crowning jewels is the Majestic Repertory Theater. From super-stylish productions such as the stunningly gorgeous "Marie Antoinette" (April 2018) and "Cabaret" (August 2018) to powerful dramas such as George Orwell's "Animal Farm" (May 2018) and Tennessee Williams' "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" (January 2018) to hilarious comedies such as "Bigfoot: A Musical Comedy" (June/July 2018) and "Clown Bar,' the Majestic never fails to surprise and delight audiences with exhilaratingly entertaining, thoughtful, and always provocative theatrical presentations. The Majestic is also a pioneer in Vegas's blossoming immersive theater scene, including an immersive disco version of Shakespeare's "Measure for Measure" (September/October 2018) set in 1970s "Lost Wages," and John Moran's mind-bending "The Manson Family: An Opera" (November 2019) which takes audiences on a psychedelic trip through Cielo Drive, Spahn Ranch and the violent courtrooms, including a side trip with The Beatles. The intimate space affords excellent views and there is never a bad seat in the house. Free street parking can be easily found, and there are plenty of nearby choices for pre-show dinner and apres-show drinks at affordable prices in the many unique Main Street bars and restaurants. Check it out, you'll be so...
Read moreI saw Scream'd the (unauthorized) musical and it was easily the best birthday (and night!) I've ever had. The staff and cast were extremely nice and it was truly an immersive and hilarious experience. Never before had I been flipped off by Ghostface. The VIP seating is so worth all the interactions with the cast!!! We flew in from Michigan just to come here and we plan on coming back. While at the theatre, though, we forgot to ask for our meet and greet passes + lanyards and only remembered once we got back home. An email was sent, asking if we could have them mailed, and no reply was given - sad, but understandable, figured there's always next time. Until today... we got a package from Majestic in the mail. I could have cried, this is so special. Thank you to the hard working staff members, cast, and crew for all that you do, and for making the #1 Scream fan the happiest in...
Read moreI went to the Majestic Repertory Theater for the first time tonight. It's in the Arts District on Main right next to Rebar. There was plenty of available parking at an hourly rate. The theater itself is charming and has a greeting area for ticket redemption and drinks prior to the seating area for the show. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a handicapped person in our party and accessibility was a priority to the very considerate staff. The show was Hedwig and the Angry Inch and what a powerful performance. It was altered to make it hyperlocal and relevant to current times plus the singing numbers were just amazing. At one point I even cried. It was just so well acted. This cast could go toe to toe with Rent at the Smith Center anyday. Yes... They are that talented. I will absolutely go back. You owe it to yourself to...
