This may be my second review, but the first would've been 13 years ago. I remember Coast Cabins to be very well appointed, with lots of special touches, and I'm happy to report, they've only improved upon their original offerings. My partner planned a trip for us, and he added Coast Cabins to the itinerary, which is quite out of the way for just a night considering that it's 6 hours from the rest of our stay, I was hesitant but I was so grateful we came. They have the coffee I drink at home (Nespresso, thank god!) Every detail is considered; incredibly comfy beds and textiles for the bed - stayed sleeping until 9:30 when usually awake at 6! The snacks upon entry, the kitchen apparatus is high end, and not just some vacation house junk, which as an Airbnb host, I truly strive for and very much appreciate here. There is quiet resting space outside, with fountain and lounge chairs, and contained fire area should you want to use. This is the type of lodging that has us desiring to never leave the room - we are Four Seasons people and get really tired of paying for "luxury" hotels in the same price range as Coast Cabins and having very mediocre experiences - Coast Cabins rooms and cottages are at 5 star level accommodation, in my opinion. Manzanita itself is a lovely small beach town with breathtaking views! We will definitely be back,...
Read moreThis place exceeds expectation! We booked this place because we were looking for the perfect place for my fiancée birthday weekend. We wanted to relax, unplug and have some down time! We booked cabin # 4! I had hoped for #5 but I am so happy with our choice. Upon arriving Kerry met us in the office. She gave us a glass of wine each and we went off to our cabin. She gave us the tour and some tips then let us settle in. They had a wonderful tray of some snacks, fully stocked kitchen, wood for a indoor fire, and a private hot tube. The cabin was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable! If you need anything the second day you're there you just write it on the chalk board! When we came back it was one the front porch for us. We cook all but one meal in the cabin and there was everything we needed to do so. Only thing to note for guest is you need to bring your own spices and cooking spray! They a Nespresso and ground coffee to meet everyone's taste. They had tea as well for the non coffee drinkers. The cabins are at the beginning of the town and are on the main road. Your close to the coast, hwy, shops and everything you could need. This place is a tad expensive but...
Read morePerfect beach weekend getaway with your dog (or without your dog). The location isn’t on the beach, however it is conveniently located on a quiet corner property (Laneda Ave.) adjacent to all the Manzanita restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, and the beach! All walking distance to Coast Cabins property. Highly recommend trying Yolk for Brunch… but back to the Cabins. Plenty of guest parking - but not for large vehicles such as trucks etc. The management team gets all the details right within the well-designed space - plus amazing Malin + Goetz products for the bathroom don’t disappoint. The kitchen comes with enough items for capacity of each unit (we stayed in Cabin #2 – the Studio) and you can enjoy the Nespresso machine and utilize the mini refrigerator. For the dog owners - not only are there beach towels for humans – there’s a beach towel for your dog ready to go upon arrival! There was even a dog bed ready next to our bed. Don’t leave before checking out the communal fire pit and toast the complimentary s'mores package with your family and friends. Our only regret was that we only stayed for 2 nights! We will definitely be coming back for another...
