The little town of Manzanita hosts a really nice Farmer's Market. I was surprised at the number and variety of Vendors; everything from pretty sea-themed jewelry to pottery and wonderful produce.
The local "Crannies" cranberry bog folks were there and if you like dried cranberries, do yourself a favor and git you sum. They are MUCH better quality than OceanSpray! Picked up some outstanding farm-fresh veggies from Kingfisher Farms and a bag of luscious peaches from another farmer. Some vendors were cash-only, so be prepared for that.
There was a live band playing, folks were friendly and doggos on leash are welcome. There were about four rows of back-to back stalls and the market was well attended. Well worth the pretty drive!
Afterwards, go on down to the beach for a walk on the smooth sand, and end your day at "The Winery at Manzanita". Order a wine tasting flight and a charcuterie board to enjoy while sitting outside around one of three fire pits. Well-behaved doggos...
