I was surprised by how disappointing the food was after reading so many rave reviews. I can’t recall ever having food this bland at any restaurant, regardless of cuisine. I got the tequila lime chicken enchilada with green sauce, rice & beans, chips salsa & guacamole. None of the food tasted like it had any salt or spices in it. Salsa I ordered was ā€œmediumā€ but I didn’t detect any heat (or salt) to it. The green sauce on the enchilada had strong ā€œcannedā€ flavor. The chicken appeared to be poached in water (a very disrespectful way to treat chicken!) and didn’t have any seasoning to it other than a tiny hint of lime, that one wouldn’t notice unless you’re trying your best to detect flavor of any kind. I couldn’t force myself to eat food that tastes like nothing, so I left hungry, and very annoyed that I walked away from wasted food and also the money I wish I could’ve gotten back - but I don’t send food back unless there’s something terribly wrong with it - in this case they just desperately need to hire a cook who knows the basics of what food is supposed to taste like šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø I really hope they figure it out, it pains me to leave negative reviews on small town...

As an L.A. person having access to some of the most amazing Mexican food around, I was VERY pleasantly surprised (shocked, actually) when I tasted Left Coast Siesta's bean burrito. I know that it's "only" a bean burrito, but this was one of the best I've ever had, rivaling even the bean burrito I've eaten and loved for over two decades in L.A..

The frijoles were a great mix of whole bean and "smashed," with a subtly-seasoned delicious flavor. Add to that an extremely fresh whole wheat tortilla and plenty of cheese and you've got a burrito that deserves and A+. I was truly impressed. And angry at myself for not having ordered two.

I would literally return to Manzanita just for Left Coast Siesta's burritos. I can't vouch for their other menu items but based on the burrito I had (and the line that, luckily, didn't start forming until after I ordered), I'm guessing that everything they...

Well first let me talk about the good stuff, The people are super Duper nice and hard-working that part is very evident, this is the reason I gave them two stars, and I read in one of the reviews previous that this is not Mexican food and that review is absolutely correct, The difference is that they do not use any kind of seasoning in their food, even the guacamole which was obviously smashed in a nice way I had zero salt in it and if you ever watch those cooking shows on television where there is competition people get beat up for not putting seasoning like salt and pepper in the food and these folks unfortunately do not do any of that, this food could be improved if they just spiced it up a little, i’m being as nice as I can, food wise but anyway if you like upper echelon Taco Bell Del taco type of food that has much bigger portions then this is the place for you! Kind...

Literally nowhere better. I would go here every day if I lived here. The burritos are HUGE and easily sharable between two adults. We loved the pork but I've had several others and they all rock. Recommend getting with guac and both green and red sauce! And the frozen marg and friendly service were awesome as well!

Wow- where to begin. My firefighter husband and I were looking to enjoy a quick taste of the southern border when we stumbled upon this costal hotspot. I didn’t expect to be transported back to a strip mall taco Del Mar. this is the most white people try hard Mexican food. Do not enter. Counter guy was nice tho

Hands down the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. First came here in 2015 and my return in 2024 did not disappoint. Wonderful friendly service, easy to pickup or eat in. I recommend the Christmas red and green wet burrito with all the fixings, add guac. Absolutely divine, perfection, no notes, A+
