Wow. Like so many other comments, I was shocked by the rudeness we were "greeted" with before even entering the store. COVID has been difficult for many, and while some small businesses like this have adopted stricter policies then others, it never is ok to directly shame or turn away small children to their faces like we were today. Both by the OWNER which is mind blowing to me and her disgruntled employee. How does someone like her run a toy store? The deal breaker was when this woman wouldn't let us take in my 2 year old daughter without her wearing a mask. I responded by telling her that a 2 year old isn't going to keep a mask on. And that is not what the state has demanded with the recent covid regulations. She then told me that I would at least have to carry my 2 year old around then if I wanted to come into the store.
