Went here one week ago. Took our two kids into get overpriced but fun candy for a special treat. The young woman wasn’t terribly friendly which I didn’t mind until she talked rudely to my 6 year old child. We had left the building to sit and eat some of our newly bought candies. Husband took one of the kiddos back in to buy more. My very shy 6 year old ran in to follow them to buy something else. As she got in the door the woman publicly scolded her about wearing a mask. My daughter ran back to me completely embarrassed. She has painful social anxiety and this was so hurtful to her and us. Don’t see how a kind reminder would have been that difficult to muster up for a child buying candy. Especially after we were very friendly and buying items even though she was indifferent to us being there. No more business...

This wonderful candy store is a "must stop!" every time we have family and friends visit us at Manzanita, and for that occasional indulgence!" This is a family run cany store, and everyone is so lovely!! Their chocolate counters are devine and well stocked with very high quality offerings in both Milk and Dark chocolate like Chocolate Carmel and Marshmellow bars, Turtles, Sea Foam and Truffels. They have jars and jars of by the pound canies like licorices, gum drops, jaw breakers, non pariels and sweadiish fish. They also have a huge selection of individually wrapped old fashioned candies, too, like Bit O Honey, Laffy Taffy, Salt Water Taffy and many, many more! I love this place! When ever my family and I visit Oregon we always stop in Manzanita. They have the best candy here, especially the seafoam. For those who don't know what it is which is perfectly fine, it is like a honeycomb wafer type treat. It is either covered with white, dark or milk chocolate. I love it, and this is the place to go if you want to try it. So deffidentlt stop here if you want to see the candy they have and try the seafoam! The people that work here are inviting and kind. The shop is smaller than it was when I last visited but the range and type of candy is quite large. Very nice and clean, they have you wear masks because of the open candy that they have but with food it's good to take extra precautions. But...
