So there is good news and bad news about this place (we were unit 111).
Good news: the shower. Seriously. In my 40-and-change years alive this was the best shower. The kitchen was clean and modern, with pretty much all the tools you could reasonably want during a stay. The porch had a fan and had a nice view. Finally, the location was convenient with nice views.
Bad news: ocean front… NOT beach front. Rocky steps lead to powerful waves. This seems obvious after reading the description and seeing it, but I felt like that detail was kind of buried. Next, the unit next door is being remodeled. Like, dirt floor and no walls inside remodeled. It’s a clearly huge project that takes time, so if you’re around early-mid 2022, see if you can determine if it’s been finished or not. If not, be prepared for LOUD construction sounds early and throughout the day. Next, they couldn’t find my parking pass and couldn’t figure out how to get me a replacement so I spent the week worried if I would get towed because the residents… well, that brings me to my last point. I’m sure you’ve heard the term “Karen’s”. The people above us CALLED THE PROPERTY MANAGER ON US because they thought we were vaping at the pool (it was an asthma inhaler). They yelled at my daughter for going over the 3-foot tall ledge from our porch to the pool because we forgot the key - one time. They crept past our porch and looked inside to make sure (I’m assuming) we weren’t, I dunno, destroying the place? So weird. It made us avoid spending time there and definitely not using the pool as we felt we were being watched.
Anyway, nice spot, adequate facilities, freaking awesome shower and...

However: The electrical in our room was very jumbled with strange locations and remotes to control various fixtures. Drawers were broken or couldn't be opened based on layout. The main light in the room would not stay on. But the worst was the lack of blackout curtains in the bedroom with strong LED lights outside the window. This made it near impossible to sleep at night if you're light sensitive. We tried to cover it with several layers of grocery bag paper, but the light still shone through.
So, we definitely liked the location, but would be far more cautious about what room we stay in again. We give the complex 3 stars since we haven't stayed in other rooms. The room we stayed...
Read moreRented unit 409 for the views and we're not disappointed at all. Turtles come daily afternoon, steps to water for snorkeling (rocks, no beach). We saw a seal and whales as well mid-April from the lanai.
Since it faces west, sunny and warm in evening but cools down quickly due to breeze. Unit has sun screens on the lanai if desired and fans in rooms which was more than adequate for us. This is probably the best unit in the complex from a location perspective.
Shower is awesome and second bath has jet tub. Pools is nice too though not heated (9ft max).
