Mochinut McDonough — Restaurant in McDonough

Unorganized, no customer service, I stood there waiting to see how to order and the girls behind the counter and owners acted like no other customers were in the donut shop. Eh! I took my babies elsewhere.

Update to comments below…the owners were there as they were taking large orders on the phone in from of me. You mean to tell me a regular person with semi casual clothing on with papers in her hand and a purse can walk behind a counter and pick up a ringing phone that’s been ringing from a long time and started taking large orders isn’t a staff member or manager, owner of some sort? Come one now lol. I stood there and still no one helped me. The girls behind the register were not taking orders they were talking to either other saying to each other “I need you in the back or something like that” then they were walking around like I wasn’t waiting. No offer to say have you been helped? Are you picking up an order nothing.

I understand what you stated sounds good but it didn’t happen. Customer service is the main thing because everyone remembers how they were treated. P.s I rarely write reviews. It’s just a donut place not that serious… but customer service was...

First time actually having a “bad visit” to Mochinut as it’s always a great time. Sadly, when I visited w my husband this time, we ordered the mochi balls, and four doughnuts. Taro pebbles is the best flavor, so we tried others this time. I picked the churro flavor, and I am unsure if it was over baked or just not as fresh as I hoped— but it was rock solid and absent of that iconic chewy, mochi texture. I was so heartbroken to have not been able to eat it, especially since this is only a 3 pack. The mochi balls were okay, but we felt it was a freshness issue. It has a higher dough ratio to the filling, which can be underwhelming for some seeking that milk filling. We saved the taro pebble for last, but as we got home— we realized that we were missing the extra taro pebble doughnut in our order. Mochinut does not sell packs in 4x, so we added the singular. Again, considering that Taro Pebbles LITERALLY carries as a flavor and it was the only thing good/desirable about this trip— it felt like a kick in the ankle that we were missing part of our order. 😔

Visited McDonough location on 12/20, spent $19.39 purchased 2 hot Cheeto mozzarella hotdog and 1 potato original hotdog, upon returning home I proceeded to eat the hot Cheeto stick and it didn’t taste very good at. I took a bite an and couldn’t finish it so I wrapped it up and was gonna bring it back to get it replaced as soon as I was able to ( since I don’t live close to the store) returned to the store in 12/23 and was met with disgusting service from a lady that said she was the owner. She continued to antagonize me abt the hot Cheeto stick, asking me the same question abt what was wrong with it, I told her the same thing over and over that it didn’t taste good at all, and she kept asking me what was wrong with it over and over again. I thought this would be an easy fix by me having both the receipt and food, I just left and told her not to worry abt the money or the food after such horrible treatment. I would not return to this location ever again, with such a disrespectful, uncaring, unprofessional, and rude owner as she...
