Itâs unfortunate I have to give them one star because Iâve called two days now and no extra cheesy popcorn is available. Iâve been having problems getting this popcorn for months now, itâs a hit or miss, it should be available whenever a customer come. They know this is a popular item so make more, it shouldnât be a time where they run out, thatâs not good business. I will say the popcorn is always fresh and we have never had a problem with the staff, they are friendly, they just need to be prepared for business with having the popcorn ready and available daily.
Update: When I called on Monday 1/16/23 (MLK Day) I was told the cook didnât come in so thatâs why they were out of extra cheesy popcorn. I called the following day Tuesday 1/17/23 and Nana told me yes you all have extra cheesy now. When I got there I asked for James as his response on here instructed me to, and Nana told me James wasnât there, so I asked for another manager and Nana told me sheâll help me. I explained my previous inconveniences and I explain what James wrote back to me on Google. Nana said James hadnât said anything to her about this and heâs in a meeting so it was nothing she could do for my inconveniences. I was shocked from the lack of communication because all managers should be aware of any customers inconveniences. I went ahead and purchased an extra large bag of popcorn that cost me about $25 and some change, but due to my inconveniences and lack of customer service something shouldâve been done, maybe a discount on my extra large bag or a free mini couldâve been applied. I donât look for freebies and thatâs clear considering I was a repeat customer and I always paid. However, Iâm big on customer service and I wouldnât treat my customers this way, Nana also had my telephone number on the caller ID, and I havenât heard from James, so that says a lot, itâs all about the money here, and not the customer service which will get you repeat customers but my time has ended unfortunately with this establishment.    Read moreI hardly ever write reviews, but this place deserved one. My fiancĂ© and I traveled almost two hours to this town and found this little shop. We both love popcorn so it was instantaneous when we saw it that we had to stop by. When we entered the establishment, we were treated by Kisha (terribly sorry if I misspelled her name)! I work in customer service so I have a high expectation as to what kind of customer service I should receive. As soon as we walked in I felt a very welcoming and friendly environment. My guard was automatically dropped and we started sampling popcorn. The flavors are just...unimaginable. From crab legs, hot wings with ranch, and lemon pepper, to Cinnamon Toast Crunch, KitKat, and Mamba. To experience this place is truly unforgettable. I believe we stayed and tasted around 10-15 different flavors until Kisha (again, sorry for the spelling) helped us select the right ones for us. We also got shaved ice, one of my favorite treats, and rum cakes which we have only been able to find on cruises. We were so satisfied not only with the popcorn, but the service as well. I read other reviews from other people and it just didnât add up to the experience we had. She was very excited to see us, and not at all rude or huffy when we asked to sample many flavors of popcorn. I donât like to overstay my welcome in places as I know that other customers need help as well, however she gave us the one on one service I try to give people myself. She even went as far as to tell us a little about herself and made the already great experience personal and genuine. We paid, said our goodbyes and as soon as we got in the car to make the two hour trip back home, my fiancĂ© and I both looked at each other and agreed weâd be back VERY soon.    Read moreI have been getting popcorn here off and on for a few years. I first started going when the name of the place was Popcorn Sensation. It was always fresh. I would purchase several different varieties. Then they changed the name to Mad Hatter⊠itâs been disappointing. Every time I purchase several varieties of popcorn I end up with some bags of popcorn being stale. I know that popular flavors they make fresh every few days, however some of the other popcorn they donât make fresh but maybe once maybe every 10 days or so.. It sits in the bucket for many days full and gets stale and they will sell you the popcorn. Like another poster said they pouring a little bit of fresh popcorn and mixing it with the old stale popcorn. You get a bag of half crunchy fresh with old stale chewy popcorn. Also some of the seasonings are off and some of the popcorn doesnât taste like the flavor it should taste like. I have been to other popcorn places out of town/state and they have the flavors just right and how it should be and fresh. I think for the big price they charge for popcorn at least give people their moneyâs worth and somebody need to get back in the taste test kitchen.
