My parents, their friend, and I reserved for Korean BBQ for dinner. It wasn’t crowded at the time so we got seated quickly. But that was it and went downhill from there. We ordered family combo and took about 15 minutes to wait for the meat to come out. When it came out though, several meats looked bad since it had dark shades of brown. I asked the server who brought the meat why the color was brown and his reply at first response of “this is how it is so there is nothing wrong” was totally ridiculous. I got agitated and contested Why would we have ordered expensive combo meal if the meat quality was total garbage? I also flat out asked him would he pay big bucks to eat brown-colored meat. He then said he will take the meat back and bring the new one. That took additional 15 min or more of waiting while other customers-3 groups-got served. (Don’t know if the meat was fine with them.) So we got the good quality meat after waiting about an hour after being seated. Food and the portion size were ok except their sauces were too greasy and salty. They had better side dishes in the past so I was very disappointed. Servers were nice people, but they didn’t come to check on table often. I had to ask side dishes and drinks in a bulk. They were not in a hurry to serve the customers which is not the service I expected. It is important to check on the customers frequently (that’s what the servers are for right?) so customer can have comfortable “smooth flow” of their meal time. I recommended the restaurant, thinking the service and food remained great as the past. I was wrong and really got embarrassed that I picked the restaurant. I am hesitant to recommend. Order right after getting seated or you will go hungry-crazy while waiting They say it is Korean BBQ but that is a semi-lie when servers don’t cook meat for the customers. It is annoying when they add automatic high percentile tip when customers does all the cooking by themselves. Go up north near Duluth, GA and Korean BBQs there are the real deal. They cook all the meats and have great service, food, variety, and price They used to have lots of customers, but that night it was quiet with many empty spaces. Overall, first impression...

Warning: If you don’t like your food due to taste or undercooking, they will not refund you for any reason or correct it. “No refunds, No exchanges, No exceptions.” There’s a sign that says that where you can’t see it until there’s an issue.

So I ordered the Henry County Sushi (which is a fried spicy tuna sushi) it was ok. Not great but straight. I also ordered the Atlantic or Atlanta hibachi which is chicken, steak, and shrimp.

This is where the problem was second noticed concerning taste, texture, and food handling. It began with the soup. That was the worst I’ve tasted in all my many hibachi going years. It’s like someone took a chicken noodle soup and used the broth and added a little water and vegetables to it. So it looks like clear soup but the taste is certainly not clear soup.

Then, the hibachi rice was undercooked, steak was requested for well done but was chewy with a blood background, and all the sauces…the yum yum and teriyaki sauce was watered down and thin in consistency. Granted, the cook tried to appease me by presenting the teriyaki sauce but it was disgusting. Also I couldn’t taste any alcohol (sake) in the food as it should have been cooked with it and seemed as if it was just steamed, also barely any salt added.

Now if you eat just to live and are a slob eater, want to impress someone for spending a lot of money on bad flavor food, your taste buds are shot, or if you say oh there’s so many other great reviews, and lastly you are not ravishingly hungry….sure go there an eat, suit yourself, that’s on you. I paid $56 for the sushi I guess because I refused to take that nasty food home with me.

I paid and then went somewhere else to eat but not everyone can boss out like that so….this is my caution to any foodies out there….don’t do it! You will be highly disappointed, stuck in traffic trying to find something else to eat and mad the restaurant wouldn’t help correct the issue and you were still forced to pay.

Oh and the cook had cross contamination with the meats placing chicken first then scooping all other meats after. I didn’t even know hibachi could taste bad before...

My daughter wanted Hibachi for her bday dinner with friends and we wanted to avoid going into Atlanta/Buckhead to go to Benihana so we tried this place out. The food itself was good, and the cook that did the hibachi show was amazing. My daughter and her friends loved that part of it. But if I could give the service 0 stars I would! Our server whose name was either Joi or Jio was horrible! We had barely sat down before she was asking for our drink orders, my daughter and one of her friends was still looking at the menu to see what they had and she told them she will just come back because they are very busy (there were plenty of open tables so not sure why she said that unless they were understaffed). She came back and took their drink order put it in and came right back to take our orders which again we had barely just sat down and weren’t ready yet. She continuously rolled her eyes and continued to rush us to where we even forgot to order some things we wanted. Once our order was placed we barely saw her again and had to flag her to order what we forgot. Once the hibachi cook finished our food, as we’re eating she brings to go boxes and bags and placed them in front of us. WE WERE ALL STILL EATING! No one asked for to go items. She then brought the checks out. Again we are still eating! And I wish I was lying when I say she came to the table 6 times in 10 minutes to ask if the check was ready to where we finally said to her NO we’re still eating! It was so frustrating. Once we finally were ready to pay we used cash for one of the checks that was over $200. She stood there at the table with us and said ok I need to count it 🤯🤯 It was as if she didn’t believe we could pay the bill. Understandable she had to count but usually servers take the check to their little kiosk and count there. It was very off putting and rude. I have never felt soooo rushed during a dining experience that I am paying my hard earned money for. She in no way deserved the 18% gratuity that was automatically included. If we ever go back I refuse to have her as...

Warning read Yelp before deciding on this establishment!!! I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30 for a birthday dinner with a reservation for 30 people at 7:00. However, at 7:00, 5 members of our party were not present, and we were informed that we couldn't be seated until everyone arrived, which was understandable. Once the entire party arrived, the restaurant staff informed us that they couldn't seat all of us at the same hibachi table because it was reserved for 22 people, even though the reservation was for 30, and only 26 people had shown up. This decision seemed odd, as they should have known that even a 22-person table wouldn't accommodate the entire group. They ended up splitting our party and cooking food for the additional table and half of the table I was seated at. While watching the other part of our group eat, my sister requested to speak with a manager since we had been waiting since 6:30 and the latecomers had already been served. She asked if they could compensate for some of the cost, considering we had followed their rules but were now experiencing a delay due to a shortage of chefs (only 3 on duty). Surprisingly, the manager declined and told us to leave. To make matters worse, they even handed us a bill for the soup and salad which came up to almost $13 which we declined to pay after the horrible experience . Update based on response: Your response lacks coherence. Despite a reservation for 22, there weren't enough seats, and 22 people were waiting in your lobby when the request to seat us was made. We suggested seating them first, but you refused. Being short-staffed with 3 cooks, prioritizing service for the existing party would have been logical. The decline in service might be tied to your Yelp reviews, highlighting customer service issues. While Google reviews show a high score, Yelp reviews seem more accurate. In the competitive restaurant scene of Henry County, analyzing customer feedback is crucial for improvement.

There is an automatic service charge included in the bill of 15% for parties of 1-3, and 18% for parties of 4 or more; I found this after being served salmon that was browning, and more orange than pink. I, literally, had to debate that salmon should only be pink (meat) and white (fat) with, both, the server and the manager. Salmon that is more orange is usually farmed and not wild, which is fine were it not turning brown. To their credit, after 5 minutes of debate, and stating I wouldn't pay for the salmon on the sashimi platter, the restaurant took the sake off my bill... because sake is cheaper than salmon. A $96, 19 liter box of sake enough for 107 6oz pours. At $7, that is $749. The restaurant can make $653 per box of sake, that is why sake is easy to give away. Generally ok environment, visually appealing with good music. Most of the food is good, though the tofu used for miso is too hard and I would suggest using softer tofu. When my friend and I were ready to leave, it was hard to get the attention of the waiter or manager on duty for the bill; they seemed happy to help the other customers, though. We weren't impolite, just unhappy with quality and service. I'm not going back unless, practically, forced to.

Bad experience today!!! First and foremost I’ve been visiting this place for years never had any complaints until today. I called in to place a to go order and was told that they do not serve lunch portions on the weekends, ok cool not a problem. I then asked what was included in the dinner portion and was told soup and salad. When my order was picked up no soup was included. I then called back speaking to the same person I placed my order with and was told soup didn’t come with my order. I then said well aren’t you the one that took my order you told me that dinner portion came with both soup and salad. His answer to me was did you get a salad, I said yes and he responded, “ if you want soup bring back the salad.” I then asked to speak with manager who was more interested in going back and forth me with then just saying, we will have your soup ready when you get here. I ended up hanging up the phone, still no soup and then to top it all off my friend started to eat his food an found hair on his zucchini. FYI he is completely bald and my hair is orange! What was a go to favorite community restaurant of mine is no longer.
