Collins Avenue Hostel — Hotel in Miami Beach

WOW, where DO I begin?! LoL. Stayed in the 2nd floor with a private room. Noisy noisy noisy place. Couldn't have put us in a spot that was louder..maybe an airport?! 5-6 guys next to us NEVER left their room for more than 5-10mins at a time and every time they left the door SLAMMED! In fact, every door slammed in this place. There was so much marijuana being smoked in this place that we felt high walking through the hallways. One bathroom...yes, ONE bathroom for the whole entire building! Every waking hour was yearning a desire to put a slash on the wall for hours stayed in this place. Check in was at the neighboring hostel that was unorganized and felt very dirty. They charge you a $50 deposit (refundable IF you are checked out by 11am..good luck for most going to bed at 6am and IF nothing is missing..hahaha I'd like to know what could be taken!) Parking is not free as its listed, but it is fairly close by a block and on the same side, which was positive, as are the beaches which is on the next block. Free Wi-Fi. $85/per night ($150 with taxes and deposit) would be a great deal IF maybe you could actually sleep here. I'm pretty sure prison cells have more amenities than here. To sum it all up, if you don't mind not sleeping at all until 6am and you want a dirty room to change in, a shared bathroom with EVERY person that is here, then this is your place. But, if you're looking to go to bed before 6am and don't mind a bed cover to look like a dog has slept on it in the mud, then I would NOT recommend this place. We would have gotten more sleep inside the car or...

When I first looked at it online.The website displayed nice, big rooms with beach view. As soon as I got there complete opposite. We called to make reservations and the lady in the phone was trying to charge us some fee I've never heard of, then she ran mine and my brothers credit cards. Both got decline then an hour later got charged. Address and name didn't match up so that confused my Lyft driver. Had to ask a local drug dealer where the actually hotel was. Found out it was hidden in a tourist attraction shop. After we got the room situation all figured out, we went to go,check it out. Our room had a full size bed instead of the queen that was offered. A table with no chairs, and window that was painted over yet you could hear every sound outside possible. Later discovered that everyone in the hostel shared one bathroom, in which was straight trash. Explains why the room was...

De plus nous avions pas de salle de bain et devions nous laver dans un espace où il y avait les toilettes...
