SCOOTERS SOUTH BEACH — Local services in Miami Beach

The owner of this scooter rental place is the most disgusting Israeli crook I've ever met in my life. And if you read you will find out why. I don't know his name, but I know he owns this shop and another one couple blocks down. I came to the US from a poor country, I never even been on a scooter, never travelled, and I was just really excited for the first time in my life do something exciting and for me renting a scooter was like owning a rolls royce at the time. I came here on a budget, whatever cash I had in my pocket that's all I had in the whole world and I had to live off of it and get on my feet with it, I had no relatives, friends or credit cards of course, and when I was renting the scooter that Israeli told me that he needs a credit card or $200 cash deposit. Relactantly I gave him the $200 and he assured me that I will get it back when I return the scooter. I returned it that same day, he told me I can just leave it by the store if it's after hours and I did, in the morning when I came to pick up my deposit, he told me that the scooter was on the ground and that it got scratched and that now he will hold my deposit. I remember I almost cried and I begged him almost on my knees to please give me my deposit back or I will starve to death. But of course that Israeli face saw a foreigner, cash and wanted to take advantage of me because he knew I couldn't do anything. He never gave me anything back nor he ever showed me so called scratch on his already old banged up scooter. I just hope he reads this review and burn in hell for what he has done to me. And I hope you disgusting man will use that $200 on your medical bills and suffer for the rest...

🚩Do Not Rent 🚩 The people working there are very shady! Got scammed out of $250 deposit!!

Someone dropped my bike on the first day. There was a letter from the police and video evidence. They also arrested the guy that did it, To which the owner denied, lied about. The scooter had a broken mirror and cracked faring. $30 in damages MAX!

The scooter was already busted up and doesn't even cost $600 but they took $250 just for very minor damages. They make you sign a very misleading contract that you're responsible for all damages. Do not sign contract !!

I tried calling the owner to reach a compromise. I was willing to pay damages to repair bike but he didn't want to listen and refused to give me the rest of my money.

The business is very shady and unethical. Positive reviews are Fake! Please take your money...

Terrible experience. My hotel across the street said to go there, and I could tell that the quality of the scooters was poor, but we just wanted to drive around a couple of hours. They gave us a vehicle with no gas. And the guy who was supposed to orient us on the vehicle could not speak clear English to even tell us where the gas station was. There are no obvious gas stations in South Beach. Well then we ran out of gas looking for a station, and it took about an hour for them to come and get us. They blamed us and would not give any refund. They wanted cash - that should have been a clue as to what type of place this is. There are other places in South Beach and you should check them out.
