Recently stayed with my husband here before Valentine's Day cruise. Property was clean, very well maintained. However, another guest woke us up at 1:30 a.m aggressively shaking the door to our room using a key tagged with our room name, 2 buildings with same name rooms, San Marco. Definitely felt uneasy, unsafe, and restless after that, even though the guest was very apologetic. When speaking to the on site management about the incident he shrugged his shoulders and brushed it off. Being born and raised in South Georgia we were questioned twice about why we didn't speak other languages. Definitely a language barrier here. Breakfast was served in a space between the buildings. Table setup was nice and the food was okay. When my husband posted a review on booking.com the management replied with no apologies just a snap back that they got us free overnight parking. We parked across the street because this property did not have ample parking to accommodate a long wheel base pickup truck. And complained that our cigarette smoking disturbed another guest while eating breakfast but honestly we were in the designated smoking area that was provided/setup by the property manager after we had eaten breakfast. Pictures provided in reference on the property's website, breakfast area circled on left, designated smoking area circled on the right. We didn't complain about the large rodents that live on the property along the fence line or the wildlife that joined us at breakfast, squirrels, birds and lizards. But hey at least there was no mosquitos right.

-La hostal es bastante acogedora -La habitación tenía dos camas dobles bastante comodas - Estaba todo muy limpio - El baño estaba limpio e impecable - Tenía toallas, shampoo, jabon y secador de pelo - Un pequeño frigobar en la habitación, tv y ventilador - El aire acondicionado estaba bien y la ventilacion del baño también - Acceso a una cocina compartida equipada completamente -Zona de patio muy relajante y acogedora - Alba fue muy amable con nosotros y nos brindó un desayuno exquisito -The hostel is quite cozy -The room had two very comfortable double beds -Everything was very clean -The bathroom was clean and spotless -It had towels, shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer -A small minibar in the room, TV and fan -The air conditioning was good, and the bathroom ventilation too -Access to a fully equipped shared kitchen -Very relaxing and cozy patio area -Alba was very kind to us and gave us an exquisite breakfast - El parking es gratis pero es en la calle fuera de la propiedad tienes que buscar un espacio alrededor de la cuadra - Detras de la casa están los motores de aire acondicionado que hacen algo de ruido aunque no es tan terrible - Había bastantes mosquitos que nos picaron en la habitación y en la cocina debe ser por la vegetación del lugar - Parking is free but it is on the street outside the property, you have to look for a space around the block - Behind the house are the air conditioning motors that make some noise although it is not so terrible - There were quite a few mosquitoes that bit us in the room, and in the kitchen, it must be because of the vegetation in the place

Cute little Bed n Breakfast... friendly Staff, good breakfast served fresh daily, beautiful lush landscaping, and not too far from Ocean Dr and Lummus Park. As a travel agent I try and experience new things, this was a great choice.

I will cut a long story short and give the short version but I would AVOID this VILLA at ALL costs, we booked this for an overnight stay while in Orlando for 3 weeks as my parent had never been to Miami and booked lots of excursions while there, we arrived at 3pm and I had emailed the hotel in advance who confirmed free limited parking, when we arrived they asked us to park on the road and said they cover the parking, we checked in and were met by Stefano who showed us the villa nice exterior but a very damp smelling outdated room but hey ho its a bed and we are there for one night we have lots planned and will only be sleeping there, we go out and we go shopping and an hour later I take my things back to the villa, on arrival we find our hire care has gone along with $500 dollars worth of stuff including my disabled badge that is imperative for me to have, we contact the hotel staff and Stefano says oh yeah its probably been towed this happens occasionally, we just need to go pay for the car which we will pay and then get it back, off we go in Stefano car to the bank he withdraws cash and then we go get the car job done, WRONG the tow place require they need a signed letter form the car hire to release to us, we call the hire company and spend over an hour trying to get this it can only be got at 9pm having now wasted 3 hours of your 32 in Miami Stefano says he will call them at 9pm and we leave, we go out for food and then for a drink but can’t relax and concentrate and we are back in the room within 2 hours having spent no time doing what we have planned, Stefano advises via message we need to go to the airport to the rental car desk in the morning, so my partner gets up and off they go at 9am the hire company don’t do a release form advise they collect the vehicle and give us a new vehicle, they get back form there at 11.30 am a waste morning in Miami and 2 paid excursions missed! He then has the cheek to say we should have checked out at 11am but we can have an extra hour! and no offer of breakfast that has been missed because of them, After even telling my partner in the car on the way to the airport this has happened before his dad the owner told him its happened a few times! We leave the villa dn just drove back to Orlando an awful time in Miami and wasted $800 dollars worth of excursions, I email and ask for a refund on the stay as the least they can do his says his father won’t but he will ask so I emailed advising while he asks I will lease with my lawyer and also booking.com he reponds his father would have refunded but the fact ive threatened them with suing them now they will see me in court, im now currently putting a case together with my Orlando solicitor who I know who is leasing with the tow company for CCTV footage and voice recordings that we made them aware at the time we were recordings for reference due to the situation and going through all evidence to sure for loss of possessions, loss of excursions, loss of wages for time off work, and struggle due to my disability and having to have struggled with no disabled badge while I await...

COCKROACH INFESTATION! STAY AWAY!

I have never written a bad review for any hotel/b&b before, and I travel a lot. But this place was so disgusting, the owners were so appalling, and the previous reviews were so good that I felt it was necessary to write one.

There was a cockroach infestation in the room I was staying in. There were other problems that also made this place uninhabitable (hair on the sheets, impossible to lock the door, water didn’t drain from the sink, faucet was impossible to turn on, owners refused to wear masks when I told them I was visiting my 97-year-old grandma, breakfast was inedible). But the main issue is that there were cockroaches in my room- they came from the bathroom, where there were also cockroach droppings (which are toxic) on the sink, but they were also in the bedroom where I was sleeping (see photos).

When I told the owners about the cockroach infestation the morning after I discovered the issue, I was expecting them to apologize and ask what they could do to make up for it. Instead, they argued with me for over an hour that they didn’t have cockroaches, even after I showed them photos and the droppings on the sink. Finally, one owner admitted it was a problem, said he was sorry, and said they would reimburse me but that I had to do it through Booking.com.

But then when I spoke to Booking.com later, they said they called Villa Venezia and that the owners said they never agreed to reimburse me and would not be refunding me. So on top of worrying there were cockroaches in my bed, having to spend over an hour arguing with the owners instead of spending time with my grandma, having to empty out/clean my suitcase in another hotel to ensure that I was not bringing cockroaches into my apartment, the owners LIED. They promised to reimburse me and then told Booking.com they did not.

I couldn’t more highly recommend that you do NOT stay here. I read reviews rigorously when I decide whether to stay at any hotel, b&b, etc. I don’t know what happened to this place, but the previous reviews couldn’t be...
