Had the most incredible meal at Meraki on Alton Road! This was a great choice for dinner after going to a concert with friends. The ambiance is lovely and intimate, and the service is excellent, but the best part is the food! Best Greek food I’ve ever had in my life! Authentic recipes with high quality ingredients. We ordered the hummus, lemon potatoes, beef keftes, and saganaki cheese to start. The saganaki is a must-have! I also had the yaourtlou lamb kabob with rich tzatziki for the main course. Meraki on Alton Road also has an exquisite Greek Bakery inside. The desserts are truly exceptional. This spot is worth a trip solely for the baklava! Best baklava I have ever tasted. It’s not like the skinny baklava you get at other places. The baklava at Meraki is very thick and bursting with nuts. You seriously will never find a better baklava in Miami than at Meraki!! There is also an extensive selection of Greek wines on offer, and imported products to buy for home. The manager, Adonis, was very warm and friendly, and he checked on us several times to make sure that we had the best possible experience. My friends and I spent many happy hours here and we felt like we had been transported to the Mediterranean. The architecture and decor reminds me of being in Greece. There is free parking behind the restaurant and street parking all around. This is a wonderful spot for a casual bite or a special dinner with loved ones. Great vibes, great service, great wines, great food, and mind-blowing desserts. Highly recommended!

Note: I enjoy this restaurant. The food is is good, restaurant is clean, staff is always friendly. This feedback below is not about the quality of the food or service. That being said, the advertising for the buffet is MISLEADING. The promotion on the website states "$15 all you can eat buffet," which by definition means unlimited servings for one set price. However, when I went, I was charged per plate instead of the advertised "all-you-can-eat model." Please don’t say, “you can go back and forth as much as you want,” if that’s not actually how it works. That makes it feel even more confusing for customers. Maybe I should've been told "Try to stack as much as you can in one plate" As a local, this feels very disrespectful, like you’re trying to trick me and treat me as if I were just a gullible tourist... You want people to support local business? Start by building trust 🫡

I ordered a chicken gyro via Uber Eats. I tracked my order from the moment it was placed, to the moment the courier got it the restaurant to the moment it was delivered. My food arrived with stale/old fries. The fries were not at all fresh. The fries taste like cardboard. I called the South Beach location (which is the location I ordered from). I told the cook of what happened and he responded by stating that they always cook fresh fries. He then said that if I come now, I will receive fresh fries. My response was like any other person ordering food via a courier service, I placed an order to not leave my apartment. What should have been the response was, we will have someone deliver you fresh fries. Nonetheless I will not be ordering again from this restaurant.

Very Bad Experience! I went to lunch on a Wednesday at 2 pm. The restaurant was hot and there were hardly any people there. Service was super slow (I had to get up from the table and go to the counter 4 times during the meal.) I ordered the lamb kabob and my friend ordered the shrimp saganaki. After waiting about half an hour for the food I finally got a thick, tough pita with a small ground meat patty, the size of a finger, inside (like a small Cuban croquette.) I was SHOCKED. Really, I was shocked!!! (I've been to Greece 3 times & have eaten Greek food many times.) I asked the waiter if there had been a mistake. He answered that No, that was what they called a "kabob." He said that a Gyro sandwich was made with sliced meat & a kabob with ground meat. I was hungry and decided to try it. Big Mistake! It tasted like rotten meat. It was horrible, even the fries were bad. My friends dish was just as bad. She had asked the waiter about how many shrimps came in the dish, and he had answered that depending on size, it was usually about nine. Well, she got five, which didn't really matter as she was unable to eat them; they were that tough, and the heavy tomato sauce they were hidden under was simply inedible. As we asked for the check, I again questioned the waiter about the 'kabob.' He finally admitted that a kabob should be grilled pieces of meat on a skewer and not the tiny hamburger I got. (Yeah, I know, I should have taken photos, but I didn't) He offered to talk to the chef and bring me a dessert which I declined. I was so upset. I would have accepted a discount, but he charged us full price for the food. There will be no next time for this place! We will...

Dining at Miraki in Miami was an unforgettable experience, marked by exceptional service and delectable cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the main host greeted us with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a wonderful evening. Our waiter was equally impressive, ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable.

We indulged in the large grilled mixed dish, which was cooked to perfection, and the lemon potatoes were a delightful accompaniment, bursting with flavor. The highlight of the evening, however, was the unexpected yet highly appreciated gesture from one of the waiters. Despite the fact that the wait for our meal didn't bother us, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary dessert as an apology for the delay. This thoughtful act of kindness added a wonderful touch to our already fantastic meal.

Miraki truly goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, making it a must-visit destination in Miami with a great balance in value, great tasty food and service. The combination of excellent service, exquisite food, and the staff's attentiveness to guest experience makes this cozy restaurant stand out. I wholeheartedly recommend Miraki to anyone looking for a dining experience that they'll...
