Temple South Beach — Restaurant in Miami Beach

As a local who lives down the street, we were super, super excited to have a place like this open up, and still are excited. The beer selection is small but really good, and the vibe is great.

However, we were super disappointed by the food. We ordered small nachos, which were just okay. Have no idea what the salsa on it was, everything was cold, and just tasted like it came out of a can. We also ordered a hot dog, which was also cold and definitely pre-heated maybe via microwave. Couldn’t finish it and didn’t feel great after. The fries also didn’t taste fresh.

New restaurant that just opened up. Insane amount of 5 star reviews. Went with the crew to check it out. Probably won’t be back.

Pros: Beer was good. Actually some solid choices for SoBe.

Cons: don’t get food here. Temple in Wynwood is a know quality burger spot and very good. Here they don’t even have burgers…The food they served is low quality (chile cheese dog which seemed like it was microwaved, fratas which weren’t seasoned or cooked well, wings which weren’t seasoned or just looked weird) which is fine except they are pricing it at a premier price tag.

I went for drinks with friends and I really liked the atmosphere.It was really fun and the bartenders were kind. However, this is the second time I go and they run out of cold beer. Other customers also complained of the same issue. Now, about food... I ordered a milanesa sandwich and a pizza and it was really disappointing. The meat was tough and the pizza wasn't bad, but the onion on top was really cold. As I said, place is not bad, but they need to make some improvements if they want...
