If you read all my posts, I post 4 & 5 star reviews 99% of the time, or I won't post if I can't say nice things.
However, the customer service myself and niece experiences at this store with the lead cashier deserves a 1 star. This lady was downright rude, didn't want to help, nor was willing to listen. She walked by the cashier helping us and said we don't do that and threw the items we wanted to purchase on the back counter and continued walking to her register. We were traveling, and my niece needed another swimsuit. The bikini pieces were both XS but mismatched in style. No other XS bikinis were available. I just wanted to buy both pieces and was willing to pay for them. We never got to explain this. "These are not the same, no." I was not just wanting to mix match. There were no other options. Keep in mind this was a Tuesday night around 7 pm, and it was not busy. The line had only one or two people in it while we were in the store.
Yes, we named the swimsuit "The Karen bikini" after all this 🙄. As I did ask to speak to a manager. When I approached the lady a second time for help, and she was still so rude and was passive-aggressive in answers, she finally said only a store manager can do that. The manager, however, was kind and professional (Javier or Javi), and this is why I added a star, but alone, he would get 5 stars. He had to check to see if he could find matching pieces. He could not, and then he sold the pieces individually to us. This was the original question I was asking that the lady refused to even entertain. The store has a lot of space between the isles, however be aware some of the tourists who shop here are very racist and they sometimes try to invade your space to intimidate you. We are not worried because we always carry, and our people are always close by. Overall, we observed the store cleanliness to be excellent. There is plenty of space between the racks in the isles; traveling consumers really appreciate this aspect of your business. We are impressed with the selection of different brands available at this location, and the fact everything is sized and organized correctly. The fitting room area seems to be very organized. Customer service is great; managers on duty are available at the front-end checkout area. Departments we took note of were men and women's apparel, shoes, bed and bath, including fitting rooms and the store front-end. When it comes to associates, customers, representatives, and vendors, this is TJ Maxx, and every corporation must uphold Corporate America standards in all facilities and business establishments. Read moreTerrible experience, won't be back, all thanks to the lady of the picture. She was very rude and unprofessional. She didn't seem like wanting yo be working. She wasn't at the register when I approached to pay, and after few minutes of me waiting for someone to appear, she said rudely that I should have waited for her to call me. I told her that I wasn't supposed to know that if there was no one there to tell me. I had to purses to buy, very similar. She opened both and removed the paper inside without asking me. My husband asked her to put at least one of them back to preserve the shape of the purse, and suddenly she said that I put a tag that didn't correspond to the right price. That's a very serious accusation. I suggested her to check on the cameras to confirm that I didn't do such thing, and I wouldn't pay the price that wasn't on the tag the purse had when I grabbed it, and that I wanted to talk to a manager. She went and talked directly to the manager and to another person that tried to explain to me, but fortunately was more understanding and let me pay according to the tag the purse had.
