I always go to this place I lived in front but today was the worst experience. My food came with hairs I told the waiter, and I canceled my order . but I had a pizza. When we ask for the bill, the waiter tells me, you don't need to come back, I was very surprised !!! his attitude was very rude. I go in to ask for the manager because I don't think the waiter gets angry because I return my food because has a hair. the waiter returns and says: I'm the manager, I tell him: you don't have to be upset about this and say you don’t need to come back to the restaurant. you are the manager? he says yes! I was very surprised…. I think this person needs to learn a little more about customer service and learn a little more about the industry. you can't force a person to eat something they don't feel like eating. there are people who do not care, but there are others that this disgusts us …. So sad …. In the almost 7 years that I lived here, I have never had this kind of experience in Giotto… I don't know if they changed… but how sad that they treat clients in this...
Read moreGiotto's was a highlight of a recent trip to Miami beach. I have traveled extensively in Italy, and was thrilled to experience authentic Italian cuisine again at Giotto's. We returned several times during our stay in Miami. The fresh pasta was paired with a variety of sauces with very high quality ingredients. Freshly made tiramisu was delicious; it tasted like the tiramisu my sister-in-law learned to make while living in Italy. We appreciated the excellent service and familial atmosphere. While we dined inside during poor weather, Giotto's did an amazing amount of take-out. It is clearly a neighborhood favorite. The music was lively, but not annoyingly intense as we found in the rest of Miami Beach. Also try the coffee shop to the north of...
Read moreBeen going here since they first opened. The last time I went recently it was horrible, the server was nice but the cashier was rude and seemed like he did not want to be there. It took 45 minutes to get our food..a margarita pizza and a lasagna. This is the first time thatbthe pizza crust was bad...maybe a different sauce or cheese also not great. It makes us sad that we have had a bad meal at our favorite pizza place by the beach especially since we come from south pointe just to eat here. Maybe it was just a bad night, but For waiting 45 min, they vould have at least offered us some bread or a free desert. I really don't know if we will return, not only because the food wasn't good nor on time, but because the cashier was so rude. Anyone can suggest a better pizza...
