The Carlyle — Hotel in Miami Beach

The location was great and very accessible to the beach and street side restaurants. When we arrived the ring doorbell did not work, another guest had to let us in with her key. The young concierge/security guard was not watching the multiple security cameras that I stood in front of waiving my arms (the multiple monitors we saw at the desk when we finally got in was evident of that). Was he playing games on the computer? I don’t know, but he did not see us at all. Unit 4C was clean and spacious but the TV was oversized and somewhat in the way because it stuck out into the kitchen area. There was not an outlet accessible to charge my phone close to the bed. The price was higher (because of the location) than I would normally pay and with the minor inconveniences it was overall a very good experience. Now off to Key West on our summer...
