I started going to this barbershop religiously for about 6 months now. It all started when I first got to Miami. I was given MIA as a base flying for a major US airline as a flight attendant. Having to relocate and being new to Miami, I was hopping from barbershop to barbershop. My preferred haircut has been a fade with a hard side part, a cut that requires special attention to be done correctly, especially with my hair texture, which is straight but thick. It is prone to standing straight and fighting against hair style products. When I walked into this barbershop, Damien, my barber, noticed how uneven and butchered my hair was. I let him know that I had been new to Miami and was looking for a barber to cut my hair regularly. He regretted to inform me that in order to fix my butchered hair and style it correctly, we would have to let my hair regrow for several months, so he can start with a clean slate and reform the hairstyle. We followed through with the plan and I had switched my hairstyle to a slick back fade in order to give my hair enough time to grow long enough to restyle again. I continued to come here regularly, always getting my hair cut by Damien. Today I had finally decided to go back to my old hairstyle, the fade with the hard side part, as we had given my hair several months to grow out. He decided to celebrate the occasion by treating me to a steamed shave and these pictures to remember the moment. As a flight attendant, our image and grooming are important things we have to consider when stepping into the plane. I’m thankful to find a barber who understands that and takes his time to pay attention to all the details many barbers skip over when trying to end the session. As long as I’m in Miami flying, I won’t switch to any...
Read moreI’m currently sitting in this barbershop and had an appointment for 12:30 and came on time then another person came in that the barber knew and got him in before me that didn’t schedule an appointment and then asked the barber next to him” that barely spoke English” to cut my hair. I’m extremely annoyed because he clearly was rude and didn’t wanna cut my hair. I made an appointment for the time i did because I had something to do and he clearly didn’t care when he told the other guy “ I’m not gonna make you wait” as if my time wasn’t just as valuable, and pushed me off to the less experienced barber. Don’t come here. Unprofessional is an understatement! And the only reason I haven’t left yet is because I don’t have time to find another barber on a holiday. Ps it’s the black man, lead barber that has his chair closer to the door…..update I just got the best hair cut of my life by the...
Read moreHonestly decent cut but the guy who cut my hair was unprofessional and smelled way to much like cigarettes, plus I called in advance and they said it was 35, then the guy who cuts my hair says it’s 45, don’t get me wrong cut wasn’t bad but it wasn’t worth 45 plus a tip! won’t be going back to this place not a bad place just over priced and the barber that cut my hair was very unprofessional, also I feel like I got taxed because maybe he saw I was nice guy he could take advantage of, my fault on that part. I wish I knew the guys name, like I said cut wasn’t bad, it’s decent, but he was way to unprofessional for my liking. all in all I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you have good patients and don’t mind being over priced and if you do go, try not getting the guy smoking the 305 cigarettes, smells unbearable and professionalism is...
