Read This Before Buying !!!!!! Buyer Beware. I would not buy here. I was a police officer for 25 years Lee County Sheriff Office Detective. This was three years ago I was victim of crime at Braman Cadillac. I purchased a 2019 Cadillac certified and the finance manager Victoria place my signature on my loan and sales contract with out my permission. I was never given the opportunity to see any numbers on the actual sales contract. We negotiated on sales sheet and victoria stated we donāt give out paper contracts and i ll email the contract to sign. Certified Cadillac. I only signed a esign to not accept a tire warranty and that was the only document ever shown. This was premeditated by several employees to commit the crime of up charging me for financial gain. When the management found out what she (victoria) did they gave me back $ 2,500.00 I could never enjoy that car and I called Cadillac corporate for numerous times they could care less. I finally sold the car because everytime I looked at it reminded me of the crime that was committed inside the dealership. Video tape all interactions at this dealership. I had a rental car at the time of sales and they drove me to miami airport to return it. Two mistakes i made one giving Braman a deposit of $ 10,000 before signing the contract and letting them drive me on a 3 hour trip to the airport to return rental vehicle. ( Then again i did not know I was dealing with a bunch of criminals ) believing everything was done electronically when returned from car rental. The dealership was closed after we return. I had a car no paperwork and gave them $ 10,000. I found out she electronically forged my signature on the contract. My recommendation is never buy a car from Braman and or video record the transaction. Just ask them itās perfectly legal Florida State Statute protects you if a crime was committed and recording a crime. I have purchased cars from Al Packer Lincoln, Fort Lauderdale BMW, Vista BMW, Jaguar of Fort Lauderdale, and several other dealerships that were excellent and they will give you paper work. Victoria no longer works there but the crime against me still results. Your in a multi million dollar showroom and receiving no paperwork at the time of taking possession of a car and Finance manger forges your signature on a legal contract. PRICELESS never switched insurance for a week because i did not think i bought a car.. The best part the registration was hidden under the manuel in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeware of Braman's Deceptive Business Practices!
Braman tries to come across as a high class dealer but in reality they are a low class dealer that uses deceptive business practices. I saw a Certified Pre Owned Cadillac online at Braman that I liked that was advertised for $26,595, plus a $300 discount if I bought today. Their website valued my car, which only had 8,000 miles, at $21000 in excellent condition (which it was) down to $20,000 in rough condition.
So I went to Braman, drove the car and agreed to pay their asking price. Then the games began. They gave me a buyers order for $26,595, refused to give me the advertised $300 discount, added $1,995 "Certified Pre Owned fee" and $1,995 "reconditioning fee." That is $4,000 in fake fees! And that is not all. They refused to honor the their online trade-in value for my car, offering only $16,000 instead of $21,000. All the online sites valued my car at $20k-21k.
The lowball trade-in and the added fake fees added a whopping $9,000 above the $26,595 advertised price! After hours of back and forth I got it down to only paying $4,000 above their advertised price because I really wanted that car. I still feel like I got screwed by these shysters. And since many people in Miami immigrated here from other countries and read English poorly or are not familiar with how to buy a car here, I can imagine many get ripped off by this dealership. To prey on immigrants is truly disgusting. But there is more. As stated above, this was advertised as a Certified Pre Owned vehicle. That means it supposedly underwent a 172 point inspection to assure the quality and enhanced warranty. But they lied about that too. When I did the test drive the battery it was old and dead. They said they were going to put a new one in but instead they put in another used battery which quickly failed and had to be replaced. One turn signal did not work. The windshield wipers were badly worn out. The electronic brake system failed twice. The bottom line: they lied about the car meeting a 172 point inspection and meeting certification standards. It was just another of many deceptive business practices by this dealership!
Finally...all these issues are perpetuated not by a sales person, they are institutional. And for this reason I consider the owner Norman Braman to be nothing more that a high tech common thief.
Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI negotiated a deal with Livan on a used Honda Ridgeline. As part of the deal, he was going to deliver it to my house. They couldn't match my credit union's finance offer, so I secured my own financing and had to wait for the check. I paid for it to be expedited by FedEx so it was only a few days that we had to wait. I provided the loan details including the loan number to them and they said they would hold the truck for me. The day the check was to arrive, I told Livan the time so that they can get things ready for delivery and all of a sudden the manager, Hector, blew up the plans and the deal. Just hours before the truck was supposed to be delivered, I'm told that I need to provide full payment, but they won't give me the truck until the check clears their bank account. There was no mention of this before, not evenwhen I spoke to a finance manager. I told them no, I will exchange payment for the keys and they refused and the deal was off. I then had to spend hours talking to various people to cancel the loan, the gap policy and insurance that was already in place for that day and spending even more money to send the check back to close the loan that already hit my credit report. The next day Livan reached out trying to save the deal. Car dealers always want to change terms last minute and never wants to honor what they say and this dealer is no exception. Now I see they had to lower the price to try to sell it instead of just honoring the deal we had agreed to. Be careful working with this dealership especially if Hector gets involved.
UPDATE: A manager named Steve called me after my review asking me to take it down and they will make the situation right. By this point, they had lowered the sales price by $750. Since I had the expenses for the first check plus my wasted time, I told them if they brought the price down an additional $250 ($1,000 from prior deal), I'd take it. Livan reached out and said Hector said he would only approve $999.99, but he couldn't give that extra $0.01. Since they thought this was a game, I responded to keep their truck and hung up the phone. Now, they have dropped the sales price another $251. Hector has now lost a 2nd attempt to sell the truck and had to discount the truck even more than what I asked for. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes! The Braman leadership should terminate him for costing them money and losing...
