Jang Su Jang — Restaurant in Milpitas

The service was extremely bad. We went around 4:30pm as a group of 7 on Sunday. The place was empty and we were seated promptly.

The bulk of the reason for 1 star is because the dotolee yachae was served extremely slow. Took a total of 47 minutes from ordering to being served.

Obviously the rest of the party (6 people) were already finished eating by then. We inquired about the late order by the 20th minute and we were told that they "didn't forget" about it and they have started to put the noodles into the pot.

On the 47th minute, they came with the order and told us that they were really sorry and they they forgot to start the order... (??? But they previously told us that they didn't forget)

So the 6 people were waiting while the one had to quickly eat.

Overall, it was a terrible experience and as a result, it showed in our tip payment.

While we were exiting, one of the server came after us to ask why the tip was too low. I was surprised at this point as it wasn't obvious to her and I had to explain clearly why a lower tip was given.

I am extremely disappointed in the service, the way we were treated and how we were treated as customers. My recommendation is to avoid this restaurant for the time being while the servers/workers are disciplined yet again and they come together as a working team to treat their customers as...

This place looks so regal. I was really surprised by the decor and atmosphere. It was really clean and modern, definitely way nicer than any other korean establishment I've ever visited.

I came here with a group of friends for lunch and it was pretty crowded. But we got a seat without waiting since we came around 1:15 pm on Saturday.They sat us down in a booth that really roomy. The restaurant consists of booths and private rooms for larger parties. Their service was great and they were fast with everything. Their banchan was really lacking for me though :( I thought their dishes were okay at best. I didn't really like their kimchi, their chapjae was kind of bland, and their best dish was probably this apple salad thing. It wasn't that great.

Their food was good though! I got their dolsot Bibimbap. The portion was good and it tasted delicious! Their red sauce isn't that spicy but it still tasted great. Their combination tofu and seafood tofu soup was pretty good too. Overall I thought their food was good for price, portion, and taste. I will definitely come back to try other stuff (:

Fresh, clean food, tasty, super quickly made food, clean restaurant, very attentive staff and nice, and overall a great food experience whether with friends or alone. Plenty of seating. Decor is modern and unique with pretty seats even at the waiting area (see pic). No lunch specials but prices are fair as the quality and speed of food prepared is great. I ordered my bibimbap (it was the not hot pot one which has to take more time) and under 7 min later it was at my table and I started eating especially as I had to get to an appointment. The sides were perfect and inside the vegetarian bibimbap they created a nice tofu addition most places don’t do and it was great. They also have complimentary beef broth soup w the Bibimbap which was also a pleasant surprise and very good bc most places give you miso soup but this is the authentic Korean soup that’s so good for you. And perfect with the rice. The bathroom was clean and lovely. I forgot my charging case and one waitress noticed and ran out to catch me and I really appreciated that! Thank you....
