Title: Great Pani Puri, but Unwelcoming Service and High Prices.
I recently visited BiryaniZ Live Pani Puri and had a mixed experience. While the pani puri itself was delicious and offered a variety of chutneys, the overall experience was marred by unwelcoming service and high prices.
Let's start with the positive aspect—the pani puri itself. The taste was fantastic, and the range of chutneys provided ample options to customize the flavor according to personal preference. The puris were crispy, the filling was flavorful, and the tangy, spicy water added the perfect kick. It's evident that the chefs at BiryaniZ Live Pani Puri take pride in the quality of their food, and it truly shines through in the taste.
However, the experience was let down by the service, particularly the lady at the front counter. From the moment I walked in, her dry and unwelcoming nature was evident. She did not greet or smile, which made the atmosphere feel somewhat unwelcoming. As a customer, I appreciate a warm and friendly greeting, especially when dining out. It's disappointing when the first point of contact with the establishment leaves a negative impression.
Furthermore, the prices at BiryaniZ Live Pani Puri are quite steep, especially considering it is street food. A plate of pani puri, priced at $7.5, consisted of only six pieces. For such a small portion size, the price feels exorbitant. While I understand that quality ingredients and preparation go into making good food, the cost seems disproportionate, and it can be difficult to justify spending that much on a street food item.
In conclusion, BiryaniZ Live Pani Puri offers tasty pani puri with a variety of chutneys to enhance the flavor. However, the unwelcoming nature of the lady at the front counter and the high prices for the portion size are notable drawbacks. If you're willing to overlook these issues and have a craving for delicious pani puri, it might be worth a visit. However, if you're looking for a more welcoming experience and better value for money, you may want to explore other options...
Read moreCan give you guys a 5-star rating but my last experience made me to give a 1-star. Me and my friends everytime travel 2.5 hours to reach milpitas for Biryaniz. We love it so much that the flavour and spices are too good. Last week, we had taken 4 orders of paneer biryani for me and my friends. When we opened and saw the boxes they were chicken biryani in place of paneer biryani. Me and my friends are vegetarian's and when we called biryaniz regarding this, they spoke to us and told that they couldnt give us a refund but the best they can do is give the same number of biryani for free. 2 days back we went again to that place and ordered some more extra biryani. When we asked about our wrong order, they gave us extra 4 biryani and the lady who is handling in the front went inside and started commenting on us with the other staff and she came out stating with an excuse that the management has changed. For our original order which we have given, they missed 1 paneer biryani and then when we informed that lady, she went inside as though to scold the workers and ended up laughing at us inside cracking jokes. We know all the situations happening over there, we did not even speak rashly regarding this incident. It's their minimum courtesy to treat customers well for the mistake which they have done although they might have many customers who like their biryani. I know it's a long message but this is a bad experience for us. PLEASE CHECK UR FOOD...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for years and it’s honestly great! I love the owners and I love the food and I especially love the late night pan puri when they have it.
This is one of the few places that you still get goat (only available some days) that is high quality, and the price is extreme affordable.
I’ve heard some stories of the quality going down but I’ve not experienced that yet. This place is a good place to get food and go or to get delivery as the atmosphere is not the best but don’t let the looks dissuade you, this is some extremely delicious eating!
If you’re craving Indian or Pakistani food, this is your best bet in Milpitas, guaranteed. Now if I had one criticism it’s that the kitchen could be a little bit cleaner and the cleanliness practices kept up a little bit better.
Overall 4/5 because I love this place and the owners have real Heart! Just be police and give respect and you’ll get respect. I’ll continue to be a happy patron here whenever I need a late night fix. Oh! Also should mention that the hours here are great! They are open very late which is so nice to see. If you want a quick snack and a place to sit, this is a pretty great spot!
If you’re new to Milpitas grab a good rice and a good curry and a couple naan to go, and you’ll be in heaven...
