A group of my friends and I went to the Christmas Story bar to have a fun night on 12/7. This was the very first stop of our night. We were a quiet, polite group trying to have a good time. We purchased the $55 Leg Lamp drink. While sitting and chatting on one of the benches, the bottom of the glass broke off and spilled all over my outfit, shoes, cushion, and floor. We were simply sitting and talking- not being rowdy or crazy. I was not upset that the glass broke. I am sure they are cheaply made. However, the service by the 3 bartenders was TERRIBLE! They were accusatory, blaming, and stated, "Glasses don't just break." They were very rude and too worried about blaming us for the broken glass. It was not busy when this occurred. They did not offer a towel or anything as I was standing at the bar soaking wet from the drink. If one wanted to watch a surveillance video, one would be able to see that the glass bottom simply popped off. One bartender offered to remake the drink, which was polite- however, it was not the same drink, and when handing it to us stated, "Figured I would put it in a normal glass, so you don't break another one." SUPER DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE. I am not one to leave reviews, but I would not return due to the...
Read moreUpdate (3 stars) Because of our excellent experience the day prior we decided to come back again. This time we tasted four different cocktail from the menu. And unfortunately we were not impressed. They were all unbalanced and way too acidly - one of the cocktails was simply undrinkable. A bit of a disappointment after a great experience. This changes my review from 5 to 3 stars.
Former review (5 stars). My wife and I went to Nashville with a friend couple. We spent three days over a weekend in town. We wanted to experience the music scene in town, as well as food and some cocktail bars. We expected to be impressed by the Honky Tonks in town. And we were hoping that the Speakeasy bars and regular cocktail bars in town were same calibre as other towns/cities. The hidden bar at Noelle was the first Speakeasy we visited. It is hidden, and you need to find your way there. Look for âstorageâ. The bar is really cozy. And the bartenders were competent, professional and polite. They have a nice selection of cocktails. We chose the large drink to share. That was really good and something to try our. It is served with four small glasses. Definitely a...
Read moreWhen you enter Noelle, you wouldnât be expect the Hidden Bar to look what it does and thatâs the best part about it. A friend of mine recommended me to check out their Christmas Pop up bar this year (2023) and little did I know that I would turn out this good. I was expecting generic holiday theme decor and cocktails but they were so creative with the theme. This year, it was movie themed based on âChristmas Storyâ and youâll find so many Easter eggs there. The cocktails were beautifully designed and conceptualized by their mixologist. The decor was so creative, my favorite was the breakfast table spread on the wall.
It took us 15-20 to get in, the wait time wasnât that bad, but it was Monday night. It was super crowded inside, so it was hard to find a seat, but eventually we got the table.
They also have limited food options there, I was very happy to see that. If youâre not doing valet parking, you can find some paid parking garages nearby. We parked at the Printers alley parking lot. I had a lot of fun. Cocktails came at $20 each after liquor tax etc, but it...
