My husband and I do love Outback Steakhouse. We enjoy a meal there maybe every quarter therefore, it's always a treat when we go. We're currently in California about .01 mi away from the nearest Outback, it's literally walking distance from our hotel. We decided to get Outback to go. We placed an order for a dinner entree that included our favorite prime rib, cooked medium rare. Unfortunately it was cooked nearly well done. When we opened the bag for the mouth watering 🤤 brown bread that we love so much, it was burnt on one end. That was completely unacceptable which is the reason for such a low rating. Because we ordered one meal along with an appetizer and a $17 slice of cake. We thought it would be a perfect meal as if we were sitting in the restaurant. It cost $70 for one meal, an appetizer, and dessert. That was absolutely ridiculous in my opinion but I figured we're on the West Coast and everything here is probably double the cost of an Outback in Atlanta. I was just seriously disgusted with the burnt bread. I felt as though we paid good money for the meal and we should have gotten a normal piece of bread and a medium rare piece of prime rib as we ordered not well done. And they figured since we were to go order they can just treat us like crap as soon as we went out the door and that's exactly what they did especially with the burnt bread. Outback Ontario, you really need to do better. Because people do write reviews that could hurt your locations reputation. Check out the picture of the burnt bread. 🤮

I'm Australian. This isn't an Australian Outback experience. Here's the good. Service was great. Waitress was friendly, professional, helpful. The 12 oz wine glasses made me feel like I was back in Oz where every pour is generous. The 12 oz glass is standard in Oz, good to know what to request in US!! Here's the not so good. The menu. Toowoomba salmon? Dude. Toowoomba is like 4+ hours from the ocean. We have a saying in Oz.. If it's more than 3 hours from the ocean, never order the fish. Toowoomba, where I once lived, is known for wagyu. Not salmon. Brisbane Steak. No. Brisbane is known for its bugs. Not its steak. What steak? Queensland chicken and shrimp. Dude, Toowoomba and Brisbane are in the State of Queensland. My home State... a) we don't have a dish called that and b) we don't "do" shrimp, we only have prawns. And finally, the Aussie Palmer. I said to my American husband, "What's an Aussie Palmer?" He said it was like an Arnold Palmer, but an Aussie Palmer. Dude, if you've got to explain to an Aussie what an Aussie Palmer is... it ain't Aussie. 🤣🤣🤣 Come in spinner!!!🤣🤣🤣

Ever since fitting that Outback gift card into one of my wallet's clear plastic sleeves, I had made great plans... schemes if you will, of the day I could extract it as it stuck to the sleeve, causing me to have to wedge my index finder between the sleeve to break the adhesion. It was going to be wondrous. A blooming onion... maybe some kind of saffron something or other... a few well paired beverages. It was a scene I had played out in my head until I got it just perfect. Unfortunately, life has a way of changing it up, and I had to bid a fond farewell to my one thousand, nine hundred and fifty four calorie appetizer, in lieu of a melancholy dinner. And I didnt spend the whole gc amount, so its still sticking to my wallet sleeve, even as I type

I went to this location along with my husband last night and we had a very horrible experience. Please note-This was a second time of us having a bad experience at this location within the past year but I didn’t post it the first time because I normally don’t post reviews-as I’m too busy with my life. But I was really upset about this experience so I had to post this time!

So the story is my husband and I went for drinks at the bar on a sat night and we also ordered food at the last few hours of closing. The bartender was a young Hispanic female, who was very rude to us at the beginning she looked irritated that we sat at the bar because no one was there, and so she messed up our order and when the food came out, the food was old and we asked for a fresh plate because it appeared like it was day old food. The lobster was not fresh & mushy looking and the ribs were brown with bbq sauce thrown on top to hide the old meat. On top of all that-the bartender was very rude to us. She gave us attitude & our drinks super late on purpose after we complained about the food she had to have get remade. I asked for a code and she gave me a watered down Diet Coke on purpose saying some people need to diet. Then she intentionally messed up on our bill on purpose by double charging us for one plate twice!!! That’s 39 dollars over!!! We told her to fix it after we noticed the receipt being wrong & so she did fix it-but with a bad attitude!! I would like to complain about her-but maybe she was having a bad day or she wanted to go home because it was the end of the night but at the end of the day this is still her job and she was not a very good person at customer service to begin with. The atmosphere was OK so there were no complaints about that. The restaurant was clean. But It was more of the food and the service being very poor. We spent $150 on a bad night of food and drinks at this location, and I see why it’s always empty!! It’s very sad-when people in the food service industry don’t know how to do their jobs or even like doing their jobs but this doesn’t give a them a reason to treat people unkindly or rude-especially those folks like us and many out there in the world who are spending their hard earned money eating out when we could have chosen to go elsewhere for better service and food! This place had very bad customer service and they served old food to us. The drinks were okay and we the bartender never gave me my last drink. I work too hard and so does my husband so this was a place we definitely won’t be returning to anymore! One star was too much to give them! They need a revamp on staffing and customer...

Veterans Beware. My husband and I are both Vets and decided to celebrate the holiday and my mother's birthday with the family at this location. Let me start by saying our server Krysten was fabulous and is the only reason we stayed after being harassed by their manager Amber and their female bartender. Both Amber and the bartender came to our table to card my 22 year old sister because her boyfriend's drink was in between them (she didn't have her ID on her). She was not drinking it however my 24 year old brother had an expired ID and they were yelling at him for sharing a beer with my husband. They both stood directly behind me yelling about it. Now, I suffer from PTSD and for some reason loud chaotic situations are very triggering to me. I told the Manager Amber to take the drink so she'd stop yelling but she refused to take it. I told her to stop yelling in my ear and to take the drink and please go, she continued to yell from behind my head along with the bartender making accusations standing behind me on the other side. I told the manager if she didn't take the drink and back up this is considered harassment. She said she wasn't harassing us. I told her once again to take the drink but this yelling continued for a straight 5+ minutes. Due to them standing right behind me and me not being able to back my seat up to walk away I immediately went into an anxiety attack. My body grew hot, I started shaking and my ears started to ring I had to walk outside to calm myself from the attack. I was distraught the rest of the evening and sat outside for a good 30 minutes. The only reason I didn't leave that place is because I didn't want to ruin my mom's birthday dinner after all that already happened. Their manager was out of control and the bartender smirked as we walked out. I do not recommend this location. Even if my brother was in the wrong I didn't deserve to have that happened to me and have them ruin my mother's birthday dinner. Consider dining at a different...

Food was average. They changed the recipe on the bloomin onion; breading is now too mushy. I can accept the lower quality in the food but the two main problems were the service and the ladies bathroom. We had dinner and stayed for drinks at the bar. I ordered a beer but forgot to ask for a lime wedge. When he delivered the beer I asked for lime. I was 3/4 finished with the beer and appetizer before the server came back to refill my daughter’s tea. I again asked for the lime and he brought it when the dinner was delivered. We saw him a total of 4 times between sitting down and leaving. 3 of those were after the meal was served. I used the bathroom around 8pm, It wasn’t completely clean, but usable. 2 hours later I walked in to use again before leaving and it was the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen. Trash covering every floor space in all stalls. Urine, hair and etc. covering every toilet seat, and trash cans overflowing. I wanted to throw up the meal I just spent $36 for. Between dinner and drinks for 3 people we spent close to $300 and I couldn’t even use the bathroom before I left. I called for the manager who said she was aware of the situation but hadn’t done anything to correct it. I told her it was f’’kng disgusting and she told me not to cus at her and she started crying. She said she would go in and personally clean it and let me know when it was available. 10 minutes later she still didn’t come back. By that time I wanted to cry because I had a 20 minute drive to get home to use a clean bathroom. I’ve worked in the services industry as a manger and knew how to schedule regular checks/cleaning of bathrooms. This is totally unacceptable for a dining establishment that charges $30+ per meal and 11+ per drink. Yes, it was a busy night but this time of the year they should be prepared and well staffed to handle all of it. I absolutely do not recommend this place! Go to...
