Do not recommend! Staff serving your food are rude. Very simple process they hand you a pager once you pay, you seat yourself, once your pager goes off you go pick up your food. My husband and I ordered shrimp fried rice, shrimp lo mein and a side of shrimp dumplings. We paid, cashier handed us a pager, found somewhere to sit, pager goes off so I get up and proceed to the pick up area. I hand the woman my pager, she snatched it and she says ā€œyou go sit down it’s not for you, honey. Your mistake.ā€ I just shrugged it off and went to sit back down. A few minutes later my pager goes off again and I go back to this woman and hand her the pager. She hands me our food and I go sit down. My husband and I open our trays and it’s the wrong food. I get up to make my way to the pick up window to take back the two trays that were wrong and I explained to the woman (with receipt in hand) that my order was wrong. She snatched the receipt out of my hand and starts shoving me to go get the dumplings and bring them back to her. So I finally get what I think is our order but come to find out she gave us tofu dumplings, greasy bland shrimp lo mein and greasy extra salty shrimp fried rice. Overall it was a horrible and humiliating experience. Never again! If I could I would...

As its name implies it’s a Taiwanese food place, however one may be confused with its offering of sushi, ramen, etc. I went with one of my favorite Taiwanese dishes: beef noodle soup. The serving was rather small, but it was decent for a place inside of Ontario Mills. The flavor was close to authentic and you do get to choose spicy or not. It could’ve been better if more cilantro was added (hardly any in my soup) and the noodles could use another minute of cooking (just slightly under cooked). I just happened to have had a beef noodle soup at the original Yongkang Street in Taipei a couple months ago. The ones here were not as strongly flavored as the originals, but I think that’s due to the fact that this place serves mostly non-Chinese patrons. If this place serves beef tendon noodle soup, then I would be here quite often. The seating area was spacious and clean. It also has its own bathroom so you don’t have to fend yourself in a mall bathroom. I didn’t try the other dishes but found it surprising that other reviewers gave a lower than 4 rating based on what I have tasted today.

Note: the 4-star rating given here was based on its location in Ontario Mills. Otherwise this place would...

Was it bad? No. Was it good? It was ok. Look if you have lived in rancho all your life and never had ramen outside of here I can see why you would think this is the best. But if you had japanese style ramen in los angeles, san francisco, san diego. This is below mid. But its not bad, like i said if this is your only exposure to ramen you will like it, especially if you arent really looking for something authentic. I will say though my egg was way overcooked than im used to and my chicken tasted bland. Again if you are someone who hasnt had ramen before this is fine dining to thoss people. But for people like me, nope. But my god its not worth it for the price. Would I come back here again? Look my kid loved it. I would come back here to get him something and thats it.

Edit 2: decided to give this place a second chance. Look the service is world class but the food isn't good at all. I got the seafood ramen, big mistake. The shrimp was raw fam :/ I don't get it. Everyone else looks like they are enjoying their food. There has to be a secret menu...

Was happy to find this restaurant on search while staying in a hotel nearby, but I’m afraid it’s a tourist trap. Not too many authentic items on the menu that you would expect from the name Yong Kang Street. Not offering free water and charges $2 per water bottle is excessive. And don’t say it’s due to covid precautions because you can also charge $1. You can probably get drinks from the food court or elsewhere. We ordered: 1) beef noodle soup but no choice of noodles, or tendon vs beef shank. Spicy or non-spicy is the only choice. To be fair, the beef broth is good. 2) pork chop rice - the pork chop is a touch dry. Yellow daikon radish, pickled vegetables and half of an egg. Expected more side dishes for the price. 3) California roll - my daughter liked it but not sure why there are so many Japanese items on the menu (hibachi grill, tempura, Ramen, etc.) Overall, the food here fills the stomach, but if you are a Taiwanese American with Taiwanese food nostalgia, there are many other places outside of Ontario area that may hit the spot for you.
