SOMISOMI is an Ice Cream Shop located at Ontario Mills. We came to this place a couple of times. They serve Soft Serve Ice Cream in a cup, AH-BOONG (signature goldfish-shaped waffle cone stuffed with choice of filling & soft serve) and TAIYAKI (Warm fish-shaped waffle filled with choice of filling). They have so many varieties of Ice Cream Flavors like Milk, Matcha, Ube, Chocolate, Cookies’ N Cream and many more. They also have Fillings like Custard, Nutella, Red Bean, Taro, Red Bean & Cream Cheese as well as Oreo Crumbs, Strawberry, Macaron, Graham Crackers, Fruity Pebbles, Rainbow Sprinkles and so much more as Toppings. Their Ice Cream is good, but TAIYAKI is the star of the show without any doubt. And one more thing, the Ice Cream melts very quick therefore the best policy is to stand there and eat the ice cream. VERY RAW UNDERCOOKED INSIDE.MASSIVE STOMACHACHE DUE TO RAW DOUGH, this is unacceptable .Keep on increasing prices now its 10$ for only 5 taiyaki with tax .RIDICULOUS . Staff isnt that welcoming . Food is made in a rush and has barely have any stuffing you have to eat all the raw dough to finfmd maybe less than half of tea spoon of " flavor" . Because they rush everything the dough inside was still raw .the place is run by a bunch of "young kids" with zero pride or motivation to work there, they hate it and will make sure you feel it .7$ for an ice cream taiyaki is outrageous 4$ for just a tiny soft serve . You are better off buying a bag of taiyaki at asian grocery store . Taste exactly the same for a much better price and it will be actually cooked with a very geberous amount of stuffing .Lesson learn never buying again after getting...

SomiSomi was unable/unwilling to process our SomiSomi gift card via bar code, QR code, manual entry of the number... Manager and employees said they did not know how to process it and did not take any efforts to find out. SomiSomi does not have a publicly available customer service number. Square declined to help stating they are only the transaction processor including refusing to provide any contact information to reach SomiSomi to resolve the problem. Square refused to transfer funds. So, we had to pay using a credit card while the gift card funds are held by SomiSomi and trapped in Square.
