A friend and I came here tonight 1/25/2019. We never had Hooters before so we thought we'd give it a try for her birthday! And also to unwind from a very long stressful and tired week of intense training. We were really tired from being in class(work) from 8 AM til 5:40 PM.
The host was great!!! We wished that she was the one to serve us because sadly, the two servers, Cece and Halle, were not so great.
Cece was not very enthusiastic and just gave us a bland attitude when she was trying to take our orders. She ended up leaving after she took our order for a family emergency, which is completely fine. I sympathized that's why she wasn't so enthusiastic, she at least checked up on us often.
We were left with Halle. When Halle dropped our food off, that was the final interaction we had with her the whole night until we were ready for our check, but even then we couldn't really find her. It was not busy. We were there from around 7:00 PM - 9:40 PM. Trust most of our time there was not because we wanted to stay that long. From the time we got our food, we took about 40 mins to eat. During that time, no one checked up on us, no one really walked passed us to even ask for a refill. Im not gonna lie, I couldn't really remember what Halle really looked like, one reason is because there was another girl with the same hair color and style and body shape, I couldn't really tell them apart, AND I WAS TIRED!!!! I ended up with a DRY mouth, again it wasn't that busy, it was actually pretty empty. We ended up being the only people in the section where it should have busy traffic in the corner, next to the bar and with workers going in and out of the galley for refills on drinks and tabs. A lot of times we saw workers tending to others, mostly males, we were thinking because they have it set in mind that they would tip more being that they work at "Hooters." We felt like they were trying to avoid us. If I get really good service I'll definitely tip a really nice tip, but they seriously got us to the point where we felt like "Where was the service to even be tipped?" If they can forget us, they may as well have forgotten about the check too... They took for ever on our tab, then, once we got it, she explained to us why it took so long. Okay, cool, we were understanding, but then the split check was wrong. She offered a free dessert (strawberry shortcake dessert), which was great, that made us back off from speaking with a manager and feeling a bit less agitated. She took the receipt back to fix it, and that took about another 15-20 mins, by the way, everything feels a lot longer and slower, now that we just wanted to get out of there because of the lack of service received. We ended up just walking to the front to finish off the transaction there. We waited for about another 10 mins and through the discrepancies, no one really communicated with us with what was taking so long, but then again, no one really communicated or checked in with us during our time from getting the food to waiting and waiting until finally she stops and asks if we're ready for a check, btw, no refill then either. At the end of the day, they really need to take a customer service 101 class or something.
What I consider good service is order when ready, get my food in a timely manner, eat, a couple of refills here and there(which is most common in food service industry, and also, I didn't get any), to-go boxes if needed, tab and go. It doesn't take much to impress me or to get a good tip from me. Could have been all so simple with just even the slightest communication. THE GOOD NEWS IS, the FOOD IS GREAT. :) The wings were pretty good.
When my friend did not tip, because she felt like the service was just that horrible, one of the workers ASKED if she wanted to fill out the tip portion..... That's unprofessional and was pretty ugly of her to ask. I really hope the management team takes this review seriously and consider taking some kind of action into...
Read moreI stopped by this Hooters during an 8-hour layover, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. Traveling can be exhausting, but my visit here turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip—all thanks to the incredible service from Aiyanna!
From the moment I walked in, Aiyanna greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I felt welcome. She helped me get to my seat quickly and wasted no time in bringing out an ice-cold beer, which was exactly what I needed after a long flight. She was attentive and knowledgeable, immediately offering me the daily deal on half-priced appetizers, ensuring I got the best value for my meal.
What truly set Aiyanna apart was her genuine care and attention to detail. As a traveler with insulin that requires refrigeration, I was worried about keeping my medication at the right temperature. Without hesitation, Aiyanna offered to store it in the restaurant’s cold storage, giving me peace of mind knowing that my $1,000 life-saving medication was safe while I enjoyed my meal.
Not only that, but she even went the extra mile by offering to store my luggage at the front so I could dine comfortably without worrying about keeping an eye on my bags. That level of thoughtfulness and hospitality is rare and truly made my experience stress-free.
When my food arrived, it was piping hot and cooked to perfection. Every bite was delicious, and the service was fast and efficient despite the restaurant being busy. Aiyanna checked in regularly without being intrusive, making sure I had everything I needed and that my experience was top-notch.
As if she hadn’t already gone above and beyond, she added a personal touch that made my visit unforgettable—she signed my napkin with her unique signature, hearts and all! It was such a fun and thoughtful gesture that truly showcased her warm personality and dedication to making customers feel special.
In a world where good service can sometimes feel like a rarity, Aiyanna at this Hooters location is a shining example of what hospitality should be. If you’re ever in the area—whether you’re a local or just passing through on a layover like I was—do yourself a favor and ask for Aiyanna. She’ll make sure you have an amazing experience!

Dear Hooters Management,
I am writing to bring to your attention an extremely disappointing experience I recently had at your establishment located at 7222 Augusta National Dr, Orlando, Florida 32822. My visit on 12/24/2023 was marred by a series of unsatisfactory incidents that have compelled me to express my concerns.
Upon entering your establishment, I ordered two beers at the bar and subsequently moved to a table as I was feeling hungry and intended to order food. Despite the restaurant being half empty, I waited for an inordinate 45 minutes without being approached by any staff member. This lack of attention was exacerbated by the sight of six female employees near the entrance, engrossed in jovial conversation and laughter, seemingly oblivious to the needs of the customers.
Recognizing the unsatisfactory service, I sought to address the matter with the manager, Jessie, as informed by a staff member named Isa. Isa, to her credit, was apologetic and understanding when I expressed my concerns. However, my interaction with Jessie proved to be extremely disappointing. Jessie exhibited a combative and unapologetic attitude, making it clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority.
When I attempted to convey my concerns to Jessie, I was met with aggression and was informed that Jessie was occupied speaking with an employee. After waiting an additional 10 minutes to speak with Jessie, the manager abruptly walked away without addressing my concerns or offering any resolution.
This entire experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and it is disheartening to witness such a lack of professionalism and customer service in a reputable establishment like Hooters. I must express my disappointment and concern, as this experience is certainly not reflective of the high standards I have come to associate with your brand.
I hope you take this complaint seriously and investigate the circumstances surrounding my visit to ensure that such incidents do not recur. As a patron who has frequented Hooters in the past, I believe in the potential for improvement and hope that you will take the necessary steps to address these issues promptly.
Thank you for your attention to...
