I had been going here for a while since they are so close to me, and the services offered are very reasonably priced. Typically, my nails will last me three weeks, here… they only last two maximum. Despite this, I continued to get my nails done here consistently since as I had mentioned, it is so close, and the prices are better than many other places. Other than my nails not lasting, I hadn’t had any issues with this salon. That is, until my most recent set. I had the worst experience I have ever had inside a nail salon in my life so far. I came in for a repair, three days after getting an acrylic fill. I had two nails that were falling off for no good reason. The woman who “repaired” them attempted to make me pay for the service despite it only having been three days. when I respectfully told her that I just got them done a few days ago, she gave me a hard time and she completely ruined the nails I came in to have fixed. She began by telling me that it was my fault that they were broken because she had apparently told me the previous time that I needed a new set. This is untrue, as the time before that I had just got a new set, and she wasn’t even the same girl who did the original nails I came in to have fixed. The whole service she was telling me that I would have to pay for it, and at that point I had just accepted it as I wanted to just leave. Through the whole service she gave me dirty looks. Upon leaving, she no longer requested that I pay for the service. This is because the two nails that she has “fixed” were looking worse than before. She didn’t take the time to match the nails to the original color, so they were different from the rest of the set. They were not filed properly and appeared to have craters from misusing the dremmel. Only a few days after getting these two nails fixed, the acrylic started to separate from my real nails and completely destroyed my nail beds on those two nails. The polish itself began to chip on the nails, and as the top coat began to peel back, I noted that the coat underneath was uncured or completely wet. As a nail tech myself, I am very disappointed in the service I received, especially considering that this salon had my business every two weeks. They lost another loyal customer. If I knew how to attach pictures to this I would. It...
Read moreThis review is for the downtown Orlando location. I wish I could give to zero. As a customer I had the the worst experience in my life in this place. I went here right before my wedding day and asked them for french manicure & pedicure. When I get in the store after telling them manicure and pedicure they directly have me to sit on one of the chairs and started to work on me while I was still tryna understand what's the pricing. Noone in this store able to speak English and communication was very tough. Please don't get me wrong eng is my second language too but if you re not able to tell how much is what then you should Not be there OR have at least someone at the front desk speaking English. While they were working on me , me and other people there were trying to calculate and understand what they re saying and how much it would cost. But I later understood that this is actually their tactic. Couple of other people were charged extra money for the stuff that they didn't ask. They are too much forcing and Rude. When the ladies started to work on me one on my toes and other lady on my hands, they started to talk in their own language and keep laughing when their showing my hands and toes. It was super uncomfortable. I should have left at right there. They literally took 2 minutes and finished right away and just kept talking and giving me kind of massage for the rest of the time.. I didn't see any difference before and after at all. I asked them a white nail polish but they kept insisting on me other colors but when I insisted as well then I figured out that they actually didn't have one single God damn light white nail polish in the whole store. It was unbelievable. They found one and I was okay to put that on but they put so light that nothing was visible so again later figured it out that it was a half bottle!!!! After all I just gave up and had whatever they have -clear- They are expensive!! I was charged $65 for this horrible experience.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please go find elsewhere if you don't want...
Read moreI moved to the area in May of this year & this was the closest nail salon, being a busy mom, that important. I have gone now & then for a little pampering to include getting my nails done & a pedi. Well that changed after my last two visits (I try to give 2nd chances when I can because maybe the 1st was a one off). My last visit I called ahead around 4:45 and asked if they were busy and if they could take a walk-in for a full set & pedi. She said yes so I headed over. I got there about 5:15 & they’re looking at me like I walked in the members only club lol. I ask for ombré full set & pedicure. They go back & forth then tell me ok just a minute. Cool. I was sat in a spa chair for a pedi, I ask for French tip (gel). Another woman comes to start my nails (this doesn’t happen when I normally come in so 🚩). I’m talking to her & following her instructions not realizing the woman on my pedi has painted my toes a solid white. Then I go to the table to finish my nails & she rushes through them. This is almost the worst set I’ve ever had. Be that as it may, I pay & leave.
Fast forward not even a week later not 1, not 2, but 3 nails just pop off. A few other feel like they can push off at any moment.
Do NOT COME HERE after 5pm. They will take you & your money but they will not give you quality work.
In response to the salon, I did not refuse to get my toes repainted, the tech made it seem like it wasn’t an option because the shop was closing. I stand by what I said, since posting this review 2 more nails popped up/off while folding clothes. I’ve gone ahead & taken the remaining five nails off. To arrive within 30 mins of my call is appropriate given being in downtown Orlando. Again, normally don’t have issues here, but do make an appointment and come before 5pm. (I could not reply to their comment so I extended the review...
