Price is great. However service and consideration for our skiing experience is awful. If you don’t have your sizes memorized, don’t come to this place. First off, the guy helping me out seemed annoyed to be there or just having a terrible day. Given the limited knowledge I have skiing, he never asked me questions to ensure the ski boots he had me rent out were a good fit or my skis (like the Park City Village rental place I had to go to the previous day for my lesson). I had to come back after my first run to swap my skiis for shorter ones because the skis kept crossing and were much longer than my sister’s (who is just 2 inches shorter than me). Then after my 2nd run, I realized my boots had completely no stability given that they had sent me off with a 26.5 boot that should’ve been a 23-24.5 boot. Skiing has so much to do with the boot fit, shin contact, and ankle control and it was like I was skiing bootless down the mountain. There was absolutely no contact. I wanted badly to swap them but it would’ve taken away even more time from my half day so I sucked it up because I wasn’t familiar with the impact sizing made at the time and embarrassed to go back to swap a second thing when the guy was so annoyed in the first place. Had he asked me questions to ensure it was a proper fit like the other guy did with my sister (only .5 cm smaller foot than mine, given a 24.5cm boot), it would’ve saved me the uneasiness and anxiety I had on my last day skiing. It’s a shame- I really wanted to support the smaller business and like this place.

Highly recommend and would give more than 5 stars, if I could.

I had originally found a discounted rental through my employer's discount website at one of their sister companies, but I guess we came too close to them closing (30 min prior) and they referred us to Slopeside instead.

I'm glad they did because all of them have been extremely helpful. Originally I rented a snowboard for 3 days, but wanted to switch to skis after the first day. They quickly got me switched out and ready to go. My girlfriend also wanted to resize her ski boots, which she was able to do just as easily.

Thank you to each and every...

Slopeside Sports was amazing and absolutely made my son's day when we visited just after Thanksgiving! It was his first time skiing by himself without a parent, and after they fit him (in ski boots that he said was the most comfortable rental gear he has had) they stood at the Park City map and went over all the lifts and runs that were open and suitable for his comfort level and skill. We felt so good sending him up the lift by the time we left, and he had an absolutely wonderful day of skiing. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for helping us squeeze in one more day of excellent skiing before the end...
