Truly a gem! My family and I decided to get together, just a nice evening since we were all in town at the same town for once, we intended to have Thai, but as it turned out Basil decided to be closed an extra day a week and not notify anyone or change their hours online, so we all gathered and decided to go next door. OMG WHAT A SERENDIPITOUS EVENT! Orale Taqueria is family owned and operated, their recipes are from tried and true over generations. I have had Mexican food all my life from countless places, it's a staple where I grew up, but this was beyond anything I'd ever had. Truly fantastic food! You do have to order inside, pay, and then wait outside at your table, but it is WELL worth the wait. I had what I expected to be a basic chicken quesadilla, my mouth is watering thinking about it, it was so tender and flavorful, the tortilla crispy and delicious, and the cheese, I couldn't identify what it was but it tasted like a cross between smoked cheddar and gruyere, I know this is a family place, it's quaint, not super fancy at all, but my taste buds were firing on all cylinders it was amazing whatever the blend was. My brother an annoyingly picky eater cleaned his plate, our grandmother got fish tacos and the aroma coming from them was heavenly, not fishy but like some kind of mesquite lightly seafood scented BBQ with fresh pico de gallo, most of my family ate everything before I could sample a taste. I've lived in the area off and on for 30 years and somehow never tried this place. DO NOT PASS UP THE...
Read moreWe are so glad we chose Orale to cater our wedding! To start for cocktail hour we had elote corn, shrimp cocktails and flautas with a chipotle sauce! It was to die for, I heard the guests trying to hunt them down for more! The tacos were absolutely incredible, and they were a major highlight of our big day. From the very first bite, our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the tacos were.
We went with a taco bar featuring a variety of fillings—carne asada and carnitas—and each one was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The toppings were fresh and vibrant, from the tangy salsas to the crunchy veggies, and the tortillas were soft and warm. It truly felt like a gourmet taco experience.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The team at Orale was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the evening. They set up a beautiful taco station and made sure everything stayed fresh and well-stocked, so our guests had plenty to enjoy all night long.
Our wedding had a more relaxed vibe, and the taco station fit perfectly with our vision. It felt casual yet elevated—everyone loved it. The best part? It was a fun, interactive experience for our guests, allowing them to customize their tacos just the way they liked.
If you’re looking for a unique and delicious food option for your wedding, we highly recommend Orale. They added a fun, tasty touch to our celebration, and we’re still getting compliments...
Read moreWe stepped in for something to drink from the fountain. Soda machine needs a good wipe down! Proceeded to sit down, and noticed glass entry door completely smeared by dirty palm prints... as you scope the place closely, look at the "beige" borders of the tables. The grime is totally unacceptably incredible....... Floors inside and out were not swept, and to top it off, the server that was wiping tables down did a crummy job, not even moving the salt and pepper shakers together with El Tapatio bottle of salsa...... Eaten there before but did not take the time to observe these things closely .... to the manager, heads up, your staff is not showcasing your restaurant properly. If this is what the front looks like??? makes me wonder... what does the kitchen prep area look like? Need to get Gordon Ramsey from "Hell's Kitchen" involved? Not to throw anyone under the bus, but this could very well cost you...
