Mancini's Sleepworld Redwood City — Hotel in Redwood City

Delivery was a hassle, they called day of before the delivery window to say the truck broke down and they missed the window by over 4 hours. Would have been fine on its own but we eventually returned the mattress and during pickup amazingly the same think happened. They called about an hour before the window to say the broke down truck so we had to reschedule the pickup. I wonder if this is a common practice for them.

We wanted to exchange the mattress but wouldn’t be able to return the second mattress if it didn’t fit us better so we decided to return it and buy a mattress elsewhere to retain the ability to get a refund if necessary. Can’t return the base so we’ll use that for the next mattress. That’s on their policy page but the salesman made it seem like everything was returnable (misrepresenting the policy).

Difficult to return a mattress, pressure from staff and the refund didnt go through to our credit card. After 19 days of not seeing the refund we had to go back to the store in person for them to process the refund that had fallen ‘through the cracks’.

My experience purchasing a new mattress at Mancini's Sleepworld in RWC was outstanding. Daniela helped me from the outset, and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions, but did not overwhelm me with too much technical jargon. She is very professional, courtesy, and is not at all pushy. Daniela heard me out regarding my preferences and showed me 3 different manufacturers, and described the pros and cons for each mfg/mattress model. It took me and my partner three trips visiting Daniela before we finally purchased, and it was a pleasure working with Daniela throughout the entire process. Prior to visiting Mancinis RWC, I visited a nearby competitor, but I did not feel comfortable with the the salesperson. I cannot express how comfortable I felt with Daniela--she is truly wonderful. Fantastic experience at this Mancini’s location! Needed a new bed for our new home. My wife and I have very different preferences when it comes to mattresses - I get low back pain and I always used tempurpedic with firm memory foam, while my wife prefers plush inner spring style and she detests memory foam. I also snore and she’s a light sleeper. Daniella worked with us over several days to find the perfect compromise in a lovely Aireloom luxury firm mattress with a tempurpedic adjustable base. Daniella was so supportive throughout the process AND she got us an amazing deal that included two really luxurious pillows! We never felt pressured at all when shopping and she was always attentive and ready to answer detailed questions with her extensive knowledge.
