Taco Bell on El Camino in Redwood City sits right next to the legendary El Elrullense—a local favorite for legit street tacos. But let’s be real: both spots have their own unique flavor, and Taco Bell earns its stripes in a very specific, very unapologetic lane.
This location deserves an honorable mention for embracing the art of trash tacos. Shoutout to the real ones ordering six hard shells with fire sauce and eating them to the face like you’re avenging every time you didn’t have lunch money in middle school. If Dante’s Inferno had a fast-food chapter, this would be the Gluttony circle—and we’d be posted up proudly.
There’s just something iconic about that shredded lettuce-to-cheese-to-dicey-tomato ratio. And the wrap? Lazy. Sloppy. Glorious. Just like my decision-making skills after 9pm.

You just went ahead and charged me and she could not understand what she...
Read moreObviously, this is still a Taco Bell and so the food is never going to be considered gourmet, but I am giving five stars for the consistent quality and service of this particular location. Due to working nearby, I have frequented this establishment and my order has always been correct. The food here, at least for me, always comes out hot and fresh. This is especially apparent when I order the Nacho Fries or Fiesta Potatoes, which often comes out cold and stale at other locations. While this review may have been written after some herbal influence, I honestly do feel that this place is one of the better Taco...
