VERY RUDE. If I could give a negative zero I would.
Understanding that various Panera locations and establishments afford consumers the opportunity to place orders over the phone; this I know from experience, I found it very distasteful when I overheard an order of a close friend.
Essentially, Said consumer called the Abercorn location to place an order, not knowing that this option was unavailable. Rather than informing their consumer that this was not a viable option, they instead hung up in their face.
When said consumer attempted to call the establishment back they were circulated threw the automated voice messaging system for about 10-15minutes.
Moral: THE EMPLOYEES SIMPLY COULD HAVE INFORMED THE CALLER THAT THIS REQUEST WAS NOT AN ASSESSABLE OPTION. AND INSTRUCTED THEM TO THE AVAILABLE ORDERING OPTIONS. To my knowledge, nowhere on the Panera's website does it explicitly say that phone inquisitions such as an order is not probable.
There are consumers whom do not frequent Panera and may not be acquainted with the"what is or isn't". There was a lack of professionalism and phone etiquette. Whomever was scheduled between the times of 8-8:30pm August 10, 2022, should be approached by management. Working within customer care as a call center rep. all the way to a healthcare practitioner, there should be a clear understanding of decorum. Don't hang up in an individual's face when you could have simply informed them that the services requested are...
Read moreDo not use the delivery feature. They will NEVER get your order right, it feels like they cut your portions in HALF, and the quality of the food isn't good.
The quality of food at this Panera has really gone down over the last few months. My salads are always full of water and are drowning in too much dressing, and my hot food is never hot. I decided to try to go in last week and sat for a while waiting for my food, I eventually went up to the counter when it sounded like my name had been called and saw a meal on the counter that kind of looked like my order except the salad was wrong. I asked the girl behind the counter if that was for "Katlyn" and she said yes, I told her that the salad wasn't right and she insisted that the Greek salad in front of me was the Green Goddess Cobb that I ordered. I told her no, that was a Greek salad, I ordered something completely different. She eventually switched them out, but at that point, I was angry enough to tell her to just keep all of it and get me a manager. Half of the time when you are visiting the store, the staff is very friendly and polite, the other half of the time, it's like you're inconveniencing these people by asking them to do their job.
I will say that the delivery drivers are always very sweet, that is why I am awarding 3 stars instead of just 1. But even their friendly service isn't enough to tempt me to go back. I am finished with Panera, they will never see another dime...
Read moreI went for the first time to Panera Bread located on Abercorn St. Savannah, GA to have lunch with my friend. The place looked clean seamed to be a worm place. We ordered our food and the cashiers was professional and he give me the buzzer # 24 which let's the customers know their food is ready to pickup from the counter. To make the story short I went to pickup our order on the counter it was the baked potato soup I ordered. When I reached for it the server in red shirt she screamed at me: Don't touch it Is Not Yours. I asked so where is mine and my friends order she replied Is coming out now. I asked than why you buzzed me the food is ready. I waited three more minutes and both of our soups arrived she slammed the plates on the counter and said: Those are your order. I asked her calm if she can change her bad attitude because I am not her friend to treat me like she did. She responded :Just take your food and go to your table. I am a senior citizen and I had to swallow the millennial's harassment. I called for the manager I told him what was going on and he was on her side saying: I will talk to her but sorry She is having a bad day. I responded than send her home or place her somewhere else where she not disrespecting the customers. The manager walked away without showing any concern regarding my complains. If I could I would give this establishment a Zero Star Review.
Because of this experience I Say Good By to all Panera...
