My experience with this Best Buy has been fairly middling. I will detail my experience ā¦
First, we bought several items for delivery. Weāve had some good delivery experiences, and some bad delivery experiences. We had a washer and dryer delivered. That went excellent. For a fridge we bought that was supposed to be delivered to the home into the room of choice, I had two delivery guys that found every excuse they could not to bring the refrigerator Into the house, including talking about taking the doors (fridge doors and entry door, off the hinges.) It was a first floor delivery and a slab house, so the only lifting that wouldāve been done was over the front door threshold. But, I was told by them I would have to pay more money to have an āinstallā done. My impression was they just did not want to do their jobs. After that, they left with the brand new refrigerator just sitting out in front of my house. I pushed the refrigerator up to the door by myself, and I pushed it right through the door by lifting one side and pulling it into the house, then going around to the other side, lifting that up and pushing it straight in. There was no need to take any of the doors off the hinge. We had a TV that also was delivered. When the actual delivery came, that went great. But initially, they canceled the delivery right at the end of our scheduled window citing a sick employee. I would think they would know this earlier than 4 in the afternoon before we wasted our time waiting for several hours. After, they wanted us to push the delivery out on another four weeks which is not acceptable. We were able to reschedule it and closer, but I had to bird-dog the app constantly to find a slot so we could get it delivered in a reasonable time frame
Second, we have had some in-store pick ups. There are some people behind the counter that do an excellent job. There are some others that look completely lost. I waited in line one day for probably 45 minutes before getting to the front of the line just to have the person disappear in the back for what seemed like forever and come out and tell me they couldnāt find my order. After some more back-and-forth found out that they wrote the wrong name on a piece of paper they had in their hand, and after they disappeared for another 15 minutes or so, finally brought my order. Pick ups are hit and miss.
I also had a new head unit installed in my car. That whole process went pretty well. The sales person was very helpful and gave me many options. The installation went very well, and the installer was very knowledgeable. I would rate that whole portion of the experience is excellent.
Then thereās the store condition. It seems like the store lacks some general maintenance and housekeeping. Areas like the bathrooms were clean and fresh, but there are areas of the floor that look like they need a deep cleaning , there are thick layers of dust on some older appliances, and areas that are very disorganized and not kept well. Overall, inside the store has been a pretty decent experience, but I am noting these things as this is a review.
One additional note, as is everywhere around Savannah, there are a lot of homeless people in this area. No issues with that generally, but I did have a homeless guy approach my daughter and I in the store and was speaking weird gibberish we couldnāt understand. A store employee saw it and did run them off fairly quick, which was a positive.
Overall, itās about a 50-50 split with the store. There is some room for improvement, but nothing looks to be too...

I jave gone here a lot and I usually don'tbhave any issues seeing that it is a high end store. Usually when things are more expensive the service is much better, sad but true. I went in to buy a pair of headsets that I desperately needed, and while browsing I was completely lost as to which type to buy for what I wanted to do. There was a giy who didnt have on Beat Buy uniform, but he worked there who asked me if I needed help, and of course I did. He said he would find me some help...10 mins later š§½šš©³...I see him standing after helping some customers at the register..oblivious to the fact that he said a while aho he would get me some help..so I walked over and he looked up and said, oh! š²..then turned to a guy who actually have on the store's uniform and said.." she needs help".. that guy then looks over and mummbles something a stands there until he has guess to check out of the store.. now I hate to make this about race, but it was clear by who they helped in lines and otherwise vs myself. So I walked over and demanded their manager's name..He then asked me, " which one?" I told him..any manager.. there's different ones, we havr this we have that.. omg he was so annoying! I told him whoever is over you. The manager did not even come or could not be located so I stopped a store employee who seemed a little more " like me" and he called the manager immediately without questionnor hesistation..the manager rushed over and asked what was wrong.. I advised him that I was in a hurry and needed assistance that was not provided after literally waiting 20 mins. Needless to say, he did assist and apologized on behalf of his employees and told me 1 of them was a vendor and that the other did in fact work there and should have helped regardless of departments. Whats ironic is I went there dressed like a woman who works for a living but on my leaisure days if a little cleavage is showing they cant get enough of assisting.. šš.. I hope a Director or manager read this that can actually do something because that was unacceptable on every level. If they dont want to ahow up for work, stay home and spare people lime myself who depend on good customer service in order to move efficiently through the day. Im dissapointed bit not too...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the most unpleasant experience with this establishment this past weekend. I was scheduled to have my washer and dryer delivered Saturday between the hours of 12-8. It was after 6 and I still had not heard from anyone to confirm my appointment or advise me how much longer it would be before my delivery. I called the store and spoke with Amy A. and informed her of my concerns. She simply looked up my order and stated it's supposed to be delivered today between 12-8 and asked me to hold on while she checked. Instead of actually checking, she transferred me to the geek squad line where the automated message stated the wait would be 36 minutes. By that time the store would be closed and I would not have an answer. I kept the line open and called the store back on another phone and Amy A. answered again. I explained to her that I was still on hold and that my call would not be answered until 30+ minutes and the store would be closed at that time. Amy A. asked for the phone number on my order with an unpleasant demeanor. This time she actually took the time to review my order and realized that my appliances had not even been delivered to the store. At this point I asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Jay H. who was rude and not helpful. I inquired how they would make it right especially given the fact that I had taken the day off and I've been waiting for 5 weeks for my appliances. In addition, I asked why had no one called or checked the stock to make sure everything that was supposed to go out the following day was ready. Jay H. stated that no one in the store checks inventory due to furlough and that the responsibility now falls on corporate to make sure the stores are stocked and proceeded to tell me there was nothing he could do. Jay H. statements were beyond frustrating and non helpful. After the conversation ended I realized I was sent a new appointment without my consent for the date and time. To add insult to injury, the appointment was set for the end of July. At that point, I had no other choice but to call the store once again, cancel my purchase, and request a full refund.
