If you are coming to Mochinut I very much advise you that if you are paying with credit or debt to be careful with the computer there where you order goes through. We put in our first order and the big screen computer froze on us while we were paying and restarted our order. Then we tried again to re-order with my debt card and it did it all over again. Mind you this is their computers fault! We asked the nice gentleman working there that if we could refunded for our money that the computer had charged me and my husband ! Then there other co-worker a young lady decided to be off the charts rude to us saying that even if it was charge through our accounts and didn’t show up on there side of there transactions they could unfortunately not give us an order unless we re-ordered again and paid a THIRD TIME! And that there would be no way of refunding us that day until 3-5 business day and that’s if the transaction didn’t go through! Mind you we are traveling 5hr away as we are telling them there no way we could come back to Seattle to just get a refund back that should be given back to us on the same day after not even giving us our food!! We ordered over 60$ worth! And they called the manager and owner and they both declined to give us our money the same day or even our food that we have paid for ! The owner just told them to give me a email to reach out to him. All I have to say other then the gentleman that was cashiering everyone else there including the owner on the phone did not resolve the situation and I’m sure have had many situations like this! How can someone stay calm to there employees when you basically are getting no food and charged double even after showing transactions history on your bank account ! The OWNER does not care about hospitality and nor - employees that he has because of it where someone else I know they would freak out even worse making these employees in an un-safe environment. The owner only care about your money and not hospitality to those who are coming to get a good experience out of this I deeply feel bad for those employees and everyone who will have the same problem with there upcoming computer issues and...
Read moreI just had the worst customer service experience for an otherwise great donut. I ordered 3 donuts, got home and realized one of the donuts was wrong, which is the specific flavor my partner had asked me to get. I drove 20 mins home and 20 mins back. Very annoying but that's ok, people make mistakes. I went back and kindly just said, oh I got all the way home and realized I didn't get one of donuts I ordered there are two of the same kind... immediately with an attitude out of nowhere the girl at the front took a donut out of my box and literally THREW it 5 ft away to the garbage bin and tossed the missing flavor in. She didn't say, I'm so sorry about that or anything. I said, "oh you didn't have to throw it out" (it was still a flavor we ordered) and she said snottily, we can't just be giving people free donuts. Excuse me? So I drive 40 minutes out of my way to pick up the actual items that I actually ordered AFTER YOUR MISTAKE and it's like she's saying I was just asking for free donuts?? Rather than be spiteful and waste a donut, any decent human would've just said I'm so sorry, here's the one you're missing and I would've been happy. That's it. But this person had a huge chip on her shoulder. I then expressed I was unhappy and that it was a waste and you should at least say sorry to someone in this case. I'm a reasonable person and I did not come in there rudely but this beyond terrible service means I will never come back....
Read moreIt was our first time going and it was pretty good. There's street parking available, some space inside to sit, and some standing room in the store.
We got the 6 pack of donuts and the sweet potato hot dog. We really enjoyed the texture of the donuts and most of the flavors were great. They were pretty good, but I was slightly disappointed in some of the flavors because they were a bit bland and under flavored. I recommend the Vietnamese coffee, the strawberry lemonade, and cookies 'n cream. For a pack of 6, it was about $17, which hurts a bit but once in awhile, it's a good treat. These donuts are chewy, airy, and overall pretty good. The hot dog we got was also pretty good. The batter didn't taste like it was seasoned, cbut you get 1 dip, we got spicy mayo, and an optional dusting of sugar. We chose the sugar because we think it makes a difference and tastes better. The sweet potato casing was a bit overdone, just a bit hard to bite into and very crunchy. Overall, it was pretty good but hard to eat.
We enjoyed it all for the most part, but slightly disappointed in some of the flavors. I would recommend if you're craving mochi donuts, Korean hotdogs, or looking for a good snack. A good place for families, kids, a casual date, a quick snack, and a...
