Since the storms that were happening on the east coast cancelled our flight to Boston, I was dying for a lobster roll and this was one of the only places that came up. I loved that they had all three options for the lobster rolls (butter, mayo, and mayo, celery and chives). I went with the later. Portions are good for west coast. Good whole pieces but wasn't as fresh as I was looking for which is definitely understandable. It was still a great sandwich. All the previous photos are shown with Cape Cod chips and we got Tim's instead. Not a huge difference but was surprised when I got them. Also served with a cole slaw that I wasn't a crazy fan for. Very generic nothing special and almost bland. We also got a chicken Caesar salad which had a ton of kale in it so it was picked at modestly. Ordered one glass of wine and it took a little while for that to come to us so the waiter took it off our bill which was very nice since we didn't really notice the wait. Open concept kitchen and friendly people. We will go see what it's like when the Patriots start playing again now that we've found a...

The service was ok, but we had a big group and I was hoping that we would get a pitcher of water but we never got one from the waiter. We ordered the chowder, and it was so bland and watered down. I know they didn't use flour but they really needed to add something to make up for the lack of it.
Next we had the lobster mac and cheese. For the price point I was expecting a great lobster mac and cheese. Wrong. It was horrendously watered down cheese, almost like soup. I could barely taste the cheese, and what meager scraps of lobster that came with the mac tasted like they came from the bottom of the lobster barrel. I could have made a better dish from microwaved Easy Mac and imitation crab.
To top it off, the three of us in our group also ended up with a mild case of food poisoning here after eating these two dishes. I can't believe this place has good reviews, maybe they recently changed their chef? Don't believe everything you...
Read moreI came here for a drink with coworkers on May 3, a little before 3:00 P.M. Three of us ordered a Long Island. Surprised with the taste (too much soda, didn't taste as strong), we came up to our waitress, who was also our bartender, to kindly tell her about our drinks. She said she measured everything and cannot put anymore alcohol in it. So we decided: fine, we'll take it as it is and drink it anyway. Despite, our efforts to tell her about the drink, I thought I'd give her a dollar tip. And even though tips aren't required, I just don't feel like leaving a place without putting at least a dollar tips. I recently checked my bank statement, and she added a dollar to my tip!! It's a good thing I keep my old receipts and compare it to my bank statements, otherwise, I wouldn't have caught this. And true, it may just be a dollar, but where is the integrity in this? Was she just bitter? Was she not getting enough tips that day? Was my (non-required) tip not enough? Either way, I am quite appalled with...
