Epic shuttle from airport was awesome. Had to take a 4 hr detour because of truck wreck and when I got to Keystone and had no way of knowing how to get any equipment or lift tickets (that I had already paid for), I got to lift after getting everything at five to four and they wouldn’t let me ski.||2. Epic shuttle took me to Keystone reservation office (miles away from resort) and the kid running the show didn’t know how to do anything to check me in so I left with just a bldg., room #, key code to room, but he had no idea about lift, equipment, pool, hot tub etc.||3. Epic dropped me off at the lodge door. No way to get in bldg.. No one working at bldg. to help me so I had to ask around to get in and find room. Still no key code for door or pool. Building was ½ mi from slope so I had to walk with ski boots on. I called Keystone to get me a closer room as my reservation said it would be and they said they had none which was a lie when I asked around.||4. Skiing was great, but still no info on pool or key code. ||5. Room was clean, but the building is full of people who live full time in the rooms and the noise was ridiculous. The room over me had gatherings every night and rumbling around till midnight every night. ||6. Got a partial refund for lift tickets when they closed the lifts which was good but I had no way to find out how to do anything. Phone number for Keystone said to ask local office which didn’t know answers.||7. Office charged my card $200 even after I paid everything because they said it was for additional security and I would get a refund in ten days but I never...
Read moreOur stay at the Slopeside Condo in Keystone was perfect. The location was extremely convenient. The property is adjacent to the Mountain House base along with ski rental and ski school. It is also a short walk to the bus that runs back and forth every 10 minutes to River Run Village- the other lift base where most of the restaurants are. Our room had recently been renovated including an all new bathroom, new kitchen with stainless appliances, and beautiful new tile floors and carpet. Many of the other reviews for this property state the rooms have aged, so we really felt lucky to have such a nice room. Since these are condos I think the renovations are being independently completed by the individual owners, but I did notice other rooms being renovated. There was a king bed, a fold up Murphy bed, and a sleeper sofa. So you could support 6 people if no-one snores. A parking garage under the building kept the car close, ice free and secure. We were aware of our neighbors. People walking around in ski boots tend to make a lot of noise. But in the renovation, effort was made to reduce the noise with easy closing kitchen drawers and cabinets. Overall the close walk from the slopes provided a great place to rest...
Read moreOur first visit to Hidden River and we will be back. We choose the Mountain House area of Keystone every year over River Run because it's a little cheaper and zero crowds.|We scored with a bomber room, 1st floor over-looking the hot tubs and mountain. Room was tidy and great access to everything we wanted. Condo TV was tiny and in a bad space for viewing but we came to board and ski, so was not a big deal. |We played pool and had access to the workout equipment which was fun for the family. Less than 100 yards to the River and a short walk to the Peru Express lift. |Under ground heated parking was awesome. |We met some great people who own condos there and other guests. |Book it....
