Honestly shocked that the owner or manager or whoever you are would have the nerve to come back on here months after their first response only to edit their response entirely, to include nothing but lies and call me names. You absolutely did not look anything up, how on earth would you know enough about me and when I was there to know what order was mine? The only person belittling anyone is you. Bad look my friend. In what world do you live in where gratuity from a dining guest goes to the cook?? Furthermore, gratuity is not your decision to make. It's at the discretion of the guest based off the SERVICE that was provided. Are you not paying them an hourly wage or annual salary? Your response is so left field. I'm out there trying to support a local restaurant only to be taken advantage of, stolen from, lied to, and treated with disrespect. I will stand tall on that $22 dollars you took from me to pay your cook. Because YOU were wrong. And you upped the auntie when you couldn't take the criticism with grace. Edit to the owner: A barista makes coffees, I didn't get a coffee. A bartender makes beverages behind a bar, I didn't order a beverage from behind the bar. As I said below, I was provided no service. So who was I tipping and what was the service I was tipping for?
I was charged $22 gratuity. For what? I assumed I was going to be provided with a service, however, I ordered at a counter, I picked up my own food from the service window, got my own water from the jug and soda from the cooler, picked up my own condiments, plasticware, napkins, AND cleaned up all of my dishes. There is absolutely no reason I should have been charged a gratuity. I was not provided a service. 1: They were NOT busy as they only had 1 customer at the bar that the "bartender" was intensely conversing with. (They couldn't even say hi or clean a table for us just looked over and said "no kids at the bar")
2: The staff were defenitely NOT the "best" as it was just 2 stoned gentleman at the bar with snotty attitudes and the audacity to watch me wipe down their sticky crumb filled table since we were not welcome at the bar. They gave us a very harsh "vibe" and my wife and kids felt uncomfortable. We are not picky people but we know when we are not welcome somewhere. They simply did not want us eating in there empty establishment that night.
Snowbirds has an extremely bad atmosphere for a family, this place is only suited for the regulars, locals and singles/couples. They obviously don't want kids in there. They dont clean their tables and the guys at the bar are as rude as can be. The menu also "counter order" but it was barely visible, so we sat at a table for around 7 minutes without the 2 stoned gentleman saying anything to us as they were focused on their biking friend. Walked out without ordering due to the terrible & downright unwelcoming vibe. Can't comment on food quality, couldn't get to it.
